Propane makes it run good

+232nate Im confused. How is it possible??.... why doesn't the Propane detonate??

Propane injected turbo diesel does not run on pure propane. Much like nitro and meth inject, it only adds a small amount for a more complete burn. From what I remember, it will not detonate til you hit 5% of the air mass concentration. If you try to run too much, then yes detonation is an issue. Using a turbo actually helps force more air in, so you can run more propane in reality.

Thank you for the comment. The blow off valve is deleted. The PCV goes to a small filter up high on the racer so the oil has a chance to drain back to the engine. I'm not sure of the turbo. I really should make a new video of this race some time soon.

@@232nate would love too but will take me some time to save and make that kind of money ill be starting smaller maybe ill get some videos up of quad riding or something in the mean time but you already have the frame so when or if that engine eventually goes i hope you repower it with a l6 an make it wheelie capable :)

There is a few other mods done but, It does have a couple 100 miles on it. We had to start with something. Very happy with the way it performs.

We did add an inner-cooler after the video was made. I really need to make an update video. There has been a few changes made to the diesel buggy.

You're right diesels are actually more efficient than gas engines and diesel exhaust mostly settles down to the ground instead of rising to the atmosphere like most of gas engines exhaust does and cause global warming and damaging the environment
