Hey Guys I can believe we did this MAN THAT WAS FUN! Thank you all for the support! We have a number of things to work on and iron out. Ive been outta town Up in N Ga. I totally spaced on putting the dog clip in I had one and dumped it and then forgot to put one back in and I was in a big hurry. We have some big help coming in soon for upgrading a few parts and we need to get back to some of our other Projects. This has been a ride but its just beginning!!

Georgie is awesome. He is smart with cars and is full of energy and seems like such a fun person to have around.

I love the second wheelie at about the 60’ (14:33) when the boost comes in! Also, while I’m no Honda boy, I’m glad y’all went this route with the swap instead of a bike motor!

Of course it does wheelies XD it's like 5 feet long with a 500 HP engine- In the back. The thing could probably do backflips.

When you're showing the same thing in multiple angles, pls short all but the original one down, it's too much waiting otherwise - in my opinion. Other than that, great video, great build and as always, great Georgie :D

Just parked next to the exact same car at the store today. I literally thought to myself, holy shit this thing is tiny... I couldn't begin to imagine how much fun that thing is. When you build the bottom of that engine you might want to consider a sequential transmission a clutch and pressure plate upgrade and for sure a wheelie bar to go with it.

Hey Jeremy, just wanted to say, that's an excellent point about bad fuel. Sometimes the gas station or gas trucker, accidentally pours lower octane fuel, and in a few horror stories, I've heard of them accidentally putting diesel into a gasoline tank. Which I can have empathy for some of the truckers are working on very little sleep or poor-sleep because of sounds waking them up in their cabin. But again, great point, that if you're hearing spark knock or worse, then it could be bad fuel. I had a bad intake manifold gasket so it was causing spark knock even with 93 octane and an intermittent misfire. Currently running a cheap D-series D15B Honda Engine from 92-95, came without a crank position sensor, so I had to piggy-back the ignition, so all of these things I am learning from hot-rodders like you, about how to maintain vehicles without a CPS.

You need to buy a pitot tube for a RC plane so you can measure the air speed coming in to those upper intercooler ducts to see if it's doing what it should be.

Being a transverse setup ill bet your gonna have to really dial in the shock setup and alignment to get it to launch straight up in the air!!! Looks like fun guys keep up the great work!

this thing is such an inspiration. im def going K20 in my smartkart. you need to move the front subframe forward a couple inches, it helps the stability a lot surprisingly. i went 4 inches on mine

You need to upgrade to the EM1 Clutch Master Cylinder. Hybrid Racing sells the best one on the market for these transmissions with a stainless line. You should contact them and just purchase their CMC kit with the stainless line and consider the short shifter with stainless cables. You will never have problems missing 2nd or 3rd again. I live and breathe K-series and this is the way to go. FYI make sure you use the proper clevis for the CMC.

This thing is looking good jeremy, before you end up at sema can you make a montage of stuff with ending credits with everyone involved? Would love to see a hearty presentation of everything that will have ended up going into this build. Its beautiful man.

Hey guys. Little insite, I own a TSX myself and I blew the 2nd gear assembly including the syncros very common on the TSX trans. Issue is the CMC as Brent described it having a delay valve built into it. It causes 2nd to not want to be power shifted. Replace with either ktuned cmc or the stock Honda cmc off the earlier 2000s honda civic. Unfortunately you have to rebuild your trans but the good thing is the K series Si trans gears should fit and the ratios are shorter making your take offs fun lol. Hope this info helps. Keep at it guys you'll soon want to K swap the world

Have you seen any issue with the preemptive KR tables that HPT hasn't mapped on newer cars? I have had HPT for quite a while for tuning my LS stuff, but the newer torque table stuff was Greek to me, so I bought a tune for my wife's Cruze from arguably the best tuner for the 1.4T. Was getting 1-3deg of KR at high throttle and low/mid-range on the highway, and asked him about it. He mostly programs in efilive, and there is apparently a table that HPT hasn't mapped yet, which is called "knock balance rate" which puts 1-2-3 degrees of KR into more knock prone cylinders, but shows up as KR when logging, even if there's no nock.

"How many lug nuts do you need?" "Sixteen. 10 for the back, 6 for the front."

install a "discreet" diskcreeet dispenser above the rear tyres so you can pump a few pumps over the rear tyres and prep the tyres when you need it.

There is a lot of flex in those fixed rear tierods on the katertot. That might be screwing with tracking on a hard launch

I Loved everything from this build. But is it me or does the right tire looks off compared to the left? more crooked or the suspension a little offset?

Just wanted to add that black smoke puffs is not always detonation/pre-ignition, where the ecu pulls timing issue, it could be elevated water/coolant or IAT temps, where the ecu will also pull timing, or it could simply mean that a setup has a fuel map done on the rich side of things. In this case though it is due to detonation timing retardation. Always use freshly fresh quality fuel guys. Good work on the smart car.

I’ve had bad super before. I was wondering if our snowmobiles would make it the 60 mile wilderness. We dumped the gas the next morning before refilling and riding again. Now I prefer 87 if possible just because it has better turnover. If a vehicle requires 93 or 100 I plan my trip by fuel stops.

One thing I love about Michigan as you can get 110 octane pump gas the downside is that it's $10 a gallon. Used to put that in my moped and it would rip. 50mph on a 50cc engine.

Need more spring ratio and tighter compression. That "front end" (the rear) wasnt made for that kinda shock so it just bogs, great if you wanna run a 1/4, Is that the new purpose?
