I just discovered this movie last night and I am still smiling. How they hit the notes of a late 80s film so perfectly is mind blowing, I only found out afterwards it's not an actual 80s classic. The music is stunning and nostalgic and inspiring and really, really fun. Awesome job by everyone involved, really hoping for the sequel I keep seeing mentioned.
this movie here is a master piece this is what movies should be and I won't lie this movie made me tear up it hits you on so many emotions especially if like me you live through the 80s
Great characters and great, inspired and touching performances from these guys. Turbo Kid, this low budget simple little movie is the one screen writers and directors of mega productions such as Mortal Kombat, Army of the Dead, Godzilla vs Kong or the whole TFATF franchise should watch in order to learn how to tell a story with heart and soul, emotion and substance and how to build and perform characters that are endearing, with personality and charm, how to make a fun and also moving story. It really doesn't take 400 Mill budgets, it just takes sensibility
