Lol that 720s throwin his blinkers on when he barely gets a fender after he got whooped over and over. I hate to stereotype but this McLaren owner fits the bill perfectly
Can the whole LS vs 5.0 thing die already? They're both very impressive platforms.. one with pedigree and history, the other the new kid on the Block that has more than earned its place. We all have our preference and make our choices as such, but at the end of the day they both bring something respectable to the table..
Exactly, both are great engines and I'm an LS guy but Coyotes are awesome too. The fanboys are always acting like a bunch kids in the playground arguing and whining which toy is better.
EGGINFOOLS soon the 720s fanboys come and will say “ha heavily modded zr1 vs a bone stock 720s” lmao they think the 720s is a dominant machine and nothing can defeat it 🤦♂️ and that 720s was putting down 800 to the tires lol
m1vn demonology smokes that turd twice with two separate demons running stock power train. Oh and the 720s was heavily “modded” using a pair of drag radial!
I love car videos like this, they really romanticize the concept of racing with those pre-race shots and the forza-esque music, please dont stop doing that. (:
As usual the cars with the smallest engines Ford mustang with the 5.0 coyote kicking ass and taking the wins Ford all day every day!!! #Blue Oval Nation
@@tagacebu2 and that means absolutely "not a damn thing"... A Coyote fits into anything worth putting it in... Then again maybe you think physical size relates to cubic inches... Ignorance is bliss...
@@02autogt Anything worth putting in? Wow, yes your ignorance is bliss for you. The physical size of an engine and the cost dictates everything into a build. Your "small" engine is actually bigger than an ls and lt and fit less cars while also twice more? Ok, keep drinking that koolaid 🤣
Gotta love a boosted Stang ! And that Black vette 😳😳😳 lol at the almighty 720 let Streetspeed and Brooks tell it nothing besides Hyper cars can hang with it yea ok !
Is any of that old footage? I remember that sleeper Beamer from a previous video. None-the-less still great racing. But do we need the Mustang on Mustang crime? Reminds me of a similar problem they have going on here in Chicago
@@StreetCarVideo fsho, you guys should give awards at the end of the year every year if nothing else for sleeper of the year and that Beamer gets it! Keep up the great work guys!
Wonder how much hp that white single turbo mustang had cause that ZR1 has pulled on a 900hp twin turbo S550 before in another vid but these were close ass runs props to both
@@MM-su4gu I feel yeah man, it is what it is man. Just thought they would have posted that video before the recaps, I was like yup the next video is the Lubbock races and then it was the recaps and I was like damn lol.
The new revised 5.0 is much better but dollar per hp ls is still a better platform at least for right now when it gets as available as a ls if it ever does it will be great as the ls
David Craig The coyote is a canine native to North America. It is smaller than its close relative, the gray wolf, and slightly smaller than the closely related eastern wolf and red wolf.
It's just physics. There are many modded cars that will give a 720 fits. Big Turbo auto ls or coyote. He keeps running manuals even tho he had a DCT and boost by gear
@@bdd818181 I mean the 720 is badass and most if us will never have one (I'm not a fan of "super cars" anyways) but it isn't as badass as 717 thinks it is.
@jon doe I mean the vette videos were kinda interesting but he's trying to make the 720 look like the fastest thing on earth, I stopped watching after he raced that dude with the "1000" hp hellcat I think his channel is tall guy car reviews or something that hellcat ain't making 1000hp
5.0 coyotes are objectively better in terms of performance and efficiency than LS engines. The only argument against them is their physical size and cost.
No. Ls produces more low end torque. Physical size and cost are pretty important factors lol why not drop in a big block if that's the case. Coyote has well sorted bolt on supercharger kits readily accessible. Nobody wants to talk about turbo ls. Very even playing field with turbos or nitrous. Coyote just works better with a roots blower.
Manjoyt Kang Oh really? cause I've seen countless C6z's making north of 600whp naturally-aspirated on pump gas including my old one. I have never seen a Coyote accomplish that. LS > Coyote
Cali Big ci pushrod motors are easy to make power out of since the bore and stroke are huge and with a good head and cam you’ll have insane power However the DOHC design is just better platform for boost since it’s a “free’er” revving and high breathing and much more stable under high RPM, and boost pressure All you chevy bois will see the light when that DOHC corvette will come out And y’all will ditch the pushrod bandwagon
