I have been buying, building and selling cars for 40 yrs. The only experience I have with Turbo cars is the 3 300zx twin turbo cars and the one Supra Twin Turbo car I owned when they were still affordable(Late 90s). I left them stock because I was intimidated by them as appose to the many domestic "Muscle" V8 cars I owned and modified. Now I realize I can get more power from a stock engine that's boosted than with all of the head, piston and cam work in the world. I am excited again because of guys like you teaching an old dog a new trick on this new-fangled forum called the internet. Thankyou Sir!
Dude, good info, explained well. I learned more from this video than like 6 others combined. Thank you, also I love what you’ve done to your Tahoe, I use a lot of the Tahoe videos for my own reference.
my man said he has 300 subs and is aiming for 500, i saw his subs at 37.5k and this video posted on 15 Sept 2017 and i was like SHEEEEE~ Man's come a long way, and man, his first video is still Fire, so informative!! Hey keep up d good work!
Awesome videos, love the g-body and the display of savagery when your up on the wheel. Also nice to see you spread the knowledge and show those who don't know what the components of a turbo system are and how they work. Too many people tell you what but not the how.
Nice turbo 101 video, I'm just approaching my first turbo build and I might take you up on that offer for help. I have only been planning this for 30 years.
Would love to do a sts style 231 in the old school gbody. Just want it simple; 231 with forged internals, column shifter to keep it stock, and better fuel efficiency. Good vids!
Thanks. We’re grateful for the knowledge and experience you’re sharing. Can you make a research on Mazda’s Skyactiv Turbocharger system? Appreciate it.
Hey jeff I really liked the video man..any content that's educational like this and maybe has some hands on approach to showing the different systems on the car I would love man
Thanks for explaining this. I'm learning about turbocharging before I spend the $ so I can do it right. I would suggest you don't need background music at the same time you are explaining, only because it is a bit distracting from your good explanation.
Grand national.........mmmmmm........ I've seen em' almost same size as one on your table and bigger. I put my first into it! Those cars could easily take 1500hp. Just crazy. Good vid.
Excellent video. Maybe do a video dealing with the Banks Sidewinder 4.0 kit. The turbo has an internal wastegate and the blow off valve is manufactured on the cool side. I have been going through blow off valves more often than I think I should be. Maybe a video on how to make it more reliable. Anyways thank you for the information.
Okay so I’ve been trying to learn about turbos for a while to the point I can twin turbo my car and I’ve learn a little bit more I just found your video today too ima subscribe and like maybe you can do a series of turbos for beginners series or sum
400 series stainless steel is “ferrous”and a magnet will stick to it. Although I’m not aware of any company using it to make headers or turbo parts. Good vid!
Thanks. Excellent video. I don't know much about cars at all, and I am learning more because eventually I am thinking about ordering a turbo kit from turbokits.com. I have been talking with them on email.
