Yes, generally the longer a scene takes without the addon, the more Turbo Render can speed it up. I had one user whose renders were reduced from 12 hours to 10 mins! For less taxing scenes it's usually 3 to 5x, and for scenes that take less than 20 seconds or so without the addon, Turbo Render can't offer much of a speed up, just better quality.

On the TV..

Yes, you could boost the samples a little more, or probably better would be to boost them in the compositor to keep the low render time. You can also try turning on auto scrambling distance and light tree in the Cycles render settings (although I do find they can cause strange behaviour in the form of excessive rendering time when turning them back off). The high denoise mode also will give more clarity in reflections, but I generally avoid using it with high resolution renders, at least until the Blender developers add gpu denoising to the compositor in Blender 4.3.

Hi, the difference is very clearly visible. Make sure you click the cog at the bottom right and choose 1080p. Sometimes it plays in 720 when it's on auto 👍
