Couldn't you make a pit in the ground for better structural stability....and continued reuse..line it the same way or with corrugated sheet or something? It would add insulation and help direct your air better perhaps. Best wishes. FreeJulianAssangeFreePalestineFreeUsAll.
You're talking my language! Yes, I agree that an inground pile could work well. I was considering doing this with store bought blue board insulation, since it wouldn't be harmed by water, although I would have to protect it from damage by rocks or the loader bucket. One idea is to build a rammed tire wall in a pit with insulation and drainage around it. This might be advantageous because I could probably load it from above (this pile is difficult to load because I can only access two sides). Maybe one side is accessible from down hill so an insulated door could be opened and the material removed from the side. Another idea is to insulate a shipping container and do something similar, but I don't know how long the steel will hold up to horse shit; it's pretty corrosive.
@@whatawaytogo515 I'm a minimalist/spend thrift and would opt for a three sided pit with old corrugated steel stitch piled into the earth. You can go deeper and only have one side to access and reconstruct....corrugated sheet for this would be easy for this side too with removable posts....could even pile earth against with your machine temporarily to help retain heat. Best wishes.
