Awesome! I know Fanø a bit. I was on this island 9 times, for 1 or 2 weeks almost each summer since 2001. For me, Fanø is the most beautiful island on earth and it has kept a lot of the charme (and some of the buildings) shown in this 1950's video. In a few days I'll drive again (10th time!) and I'm so happy to see the the phantastic landscape and the fresh air of this Island (and of corse all my international kite-friends) and the kind "Fanø native people" again!! Fanø, I LOVE YOU!
A big thank you for these impressive movie pictures. I have got so many memories and the real Fanœ feeling. I have been in Fanœ since 1959 and now I miss so many old institutions, the „Sigger“Waldemar in Rindby Slunden, the Fanœ dairy, the old cake shop in Nordby, the old post office and many more.
