Three years ago, somebody purporting to be a Turkish football agent convinced Emeka Luke Ekji that he'd been recruited to play for a club in Turkey. But first, the 22-year-old Nigerian had to pay thousands of dollars in fees. His parents even sold land to fund the move. But when he got there, he realised he'd been sold a lie.

personally Im from Georgia and I was always wondering why they come to play in the middle-low income country, such as Georgia, but now I see, anywhere outside Africa is already big success. very sad tho, keep going guys, wish you only the best!

Don't want to sound mean but how on earth do ppl still fall for this type of thing ? You can literally get online and double treble check the credentials of anyone these days..Surely you would just look up the official recruiters for that club soon as someone mentioned money.

These people don't have the same internet access like you do as they are from 3rd world countries. Internet is available in the 3rd world but it's expensive not everyone there can afford it and some people have zero access due to living in remote areas. Try putting yourself in other people's shoes instead of looking at it from your own point of view. Not everyone has the same resources that you do and alot of these people aren't educated enough to even know you can check credentials etc online.

We Turkish never have problem with African people in istanbul. here in istanbul living so many african people but i never hear they did bad things like murder or r.ape or something. but syrians, pakistani, afgans they very bad people and we dont want them in Turkey. 13 million syrians, afgan, pakistani living here. even syrians not giving money to school, or hospitals or they not pay tax and getting money every month from government. thats why Turkey economy broken now. the goverment keeping them for next election. bcuz Turks dont want anymore akp in Turkey. so they keep giving Turkish citizen to syrians, pakistani and afgans... hope african people get their dreams here or can send money to their familys. but i want syrians, pakistan, and afhgans return to their countrys.
