If this tournament is a success, I hope for next time, there are two eyes in the sky so that way we get comms and perspectives from both sides. A second commentator would also be cool so you'll have someone to discuss the strategies going on between the teams

maybe highlighting team names in the top corner or putting a small red or blue bar under the teams will help with knowing who's playing as who but dang this whole tourney has been so dope thanks for putting this together moidawg i know it takes a ton of work and probably gets tiring commentating for hours
@MoiDawg What if you have a Designated public affairs officer on each team that you can bring into a call once or twice a match and give their views on what they need their team to do and what their current goal is???? Would be a quick 1 min interview haha, somewhat like inbetween hockey periods
unfortunately the game is so hard to watch for most it’s extremely unsuccessful on twitch. there has been a active comp scene for a decade, but it’s not going to take off anytime soon
The commander of the Turks was terrible, from his voice I guess he is younger than 20 years old. They had no strategy, they only applied instant tactics, they did not use mines in both games. They did not put Hasco, ATGM, wire or sandbags in the fobs. Their time management was terrible, they did not go to caps with enough soldiers on time and the advantage was given to the other side. Their armorers were not coordinated, they did not carry infantry and did not move with the infantry. They did not ambush vehichles or tried to hold strategic points of the map. Their coordination in G chat was bad. The positions of the fobs were disgusting. If I did not take a break from this game,I would join as a commander(by Platonius who is known best commander on Turkish servers) 😅 Also, it would have been a more competitive match if you had called TMT instead of Turkish Community! Btw ,your job was amazing nd I hope you continue to expand this event🎉❤
Lore accurate game- German combined arms display with armor running circles around the enemy and infantry being methodical. Turkish armor reenacting the yolo unsupported intial charge into Al Bab to be ambushed horribly. Gg
The Al Bab charge was actually withdrawal from an ambush and the remaining tank units were trying to save their friends with a suicidal decision, they were out of smokes. But rest assured I don't think Turks play this game competitively, this looked like an any pub match from their end. Probably bunch of dudes who loved squad hopped in for the experience.
Proud of our boys nad girls in SAG. Just from the gameplay alone I see all the tactics and maneuvers our vehicle squads and SLs do. Beautiful to see some the tactics we use in the pub servers being super effective in a competitive setting. Go SAG! :D
This is awesome. Not just the competitive side of things but also youre opening avenues for new players and even slightly experienced players to see how if you work together(also shows the HOW to work together) you can accomplish so many things in this game. The learning this series will provide is gonna be legendary for this game and im so excited to be around during the start. Love the content man! Youre doing some great things!

@@jacksteel1539 Well first of all, I think we can agree on that it’s still a game right? And the term „milsim“ already explains what’s happening. They pretend doing military things and tactics but ofc never even close to IRL (as it is a game). SAG definitely tried to use some of these, they were scouting, used combined arms tactics, supportive elements like mortars/artillery, abuse strategic positions.
I understand you mention it here and there, but it'd be just that bit better if you could put each factions flag next to the Team icon at the top left.
The professionalism you have come at this with I think gives this idea a huge chance at actually becoming something. Having rules, making servers as fair as you can. It feels you have put a lot of effort and thought into this and we can tell. It's really rough but as people have said, the only thing that could make this better is multiple cameras and you only doing the commentary. but that is a big task to setup. pro matches usually have people switching to the most relevant/interesting camera men or whoever the commentators are talking about at the time.
A quarter of twitch chat just kept saying "get/got Throngled" 😅 Kinda curious now why the Throngle clan didn't join the event when they kept memeing in chat
I've joined in on the SAG servers before and while I don't speak a lick of DE, the squad gameplay was enjoyable. Was excited when I saw the initial team lineups. 😁
@@IbnWobbler yeah, usually on comps the amount of player is limited like 32v32 or like this instance 40v40, so in order to cover a lot of sector they need to spread the squad.
this is exactly we needed to help boost the esports into the next level, we need a MVP player with fame, more famous players will bring more eyes and sponsorships to the games
Just finished the whole video. All Stars Germany played absolutely amazingly. I've never seen armor play that good before. Looking forward to seeing their next match.
Loving it but looks like its really hard to catch all the action on the fly. Have you considered doing a highlight cut kind of show @MoiDawg? Maybe you could colab with players after the match for sick as moments.
Turks run very strict vehicle rules in their servers yet their vehicles performed so bad in this tournament. Maybe they forget about mechanized infantry tactics because of them rules 🤔
Turkish community (not clan, whole turkish players) doesnt even have regular level armor players. We suck. Whole community just focuses on playing infantry (and getting kills to forgot objectives ofc.). Thats why so...
@@MusonTune Turks dont let infantry sq's to play with armor or vice versa. Also all Turkish clan members just focus on playing armor and playing nothing else which makes them incompetent about other aspects of the game. Creating the vehicle squad first and meaninglesly fighting outside the map (generally desert maps) has nothing to do with objectives.

The very first airstrike does not matter. If placed instantly, the artillery cooldown is not affected. Either you use the airstrike or you use it, so rather go for a risky play than no play at all.
@@zois6769 I know the artillery timer doesn’t change but it just feels like a weird choice imo. Could’ve placed it on an objective to try get a couple tickets gone in a match of very coordinated teams.
Even a bot has better awareness than that BRDM... Just drove infront of the Striker like they were in an empty server going sight seeing. Also, Squad Allstars did lose a vehicle. The BRDM
This might be a production of a scale that necessitates a director and camera operators. You did a great job but i see you trying to juggle a few too many things sometimes. If you could focus on commentary and let other people find what to look at for you would it would take it to the next level.
I’d like to see what colour which team is on the overlay just to make it clear for someone like me who’s never played the game and have a hard time following which team does what. I think it would make it easier to follow.
Is it just me, or was the battle ambience audio not as loud on the twitch video? I watched some on twitch and felt like you could barely hear the armor sounds. I like it like it is on this youtube video. A bit louder.
A common tie breaker in comp is to count the tickets that teams have left at the end of each round. The team with the most tickets wins the tie. Could save you time from playing a possible third game.
am i the only one who finds it weird TC had marks near the points at the start of both matches? they using squad lanes, or does someone know the layers?
today i got kicked in global escalation because i killed someone because they been bullying me and kills me so i killed him once i got kicked and cant join back
thats one amazing mod to spectate and jump to people. Imagine if that player list was sorted alphabetically so u can find them faster and also imagine if this was not visible to viewers and u can do it off screen, that would be so smoot hand high produciton value n quality
It's apparently not even a mod, but a tool that OWI released on the tournament branch specifically for this. With that said, there are actual community mods that improve the viewer experience dramatically, like easy ability to teleport to players, bar that shows the flags and their cap speed, killfeed etc. The only new/cool thing about the new official tool is the helmet cam.
