I saw this recipe for herring in Turkey. You can cook any small fish like anchovies, herring or capelin this way. It's quick, you don't have to turn each fish individually, and it tastes delicious. Ingredients and preparation:
1 kg herring (or other small fish)
Salt
200 grams of cornmeal
1 teaspoon chili pepper
1 teaspoon dried mint
1 teaspoon thyme
15 grams of butter
Black pepper
vegetable oil
Sauce:
2 tomatoes (320g)
½ pepper
Hot pepper (to taste)
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
salt to taste
1 teaspoon of sugar
¼ teaspoon coriander
2 cloves of garlic
A bunch of coriander
500 grams of potatoes
Add 2-3 tablespoons of oil
garlic powder
1 onion
Add 2 tablespoons of sour cream
