I used to get kebabs every Friday night in England. Most the kebab shops in East London was delicious. But it seems they have gone downhill. They are now catering for the chinless wonders that don’t have a clue what they are eating. The last kebab I just couldn’t eat it, it was disgusting, I threw it. But I have heard for a while now that the best Turkish kebabs are in Germany, Berlin in particular. It is a different way to how we do them here, but they look so good. The amount of prep that goes into making these kebabs from scratch is amazing. That guy know his craft. I thought they turned up at the kebab shops all ready to start cooking. Very insightful vid, I now appreciate just how much work goes into this amazing food, real food that you won’t get in a poncy Michelin restaurant. How could you be vegetarian or vegan

The way of making döner is bit different compared to each other but the both are delicious, you just need to search for original place for a good döner. Unfortunately some dudes trying to do this job for only money whereas they are not master of döner.
Ich bin zwar kein TÜrke/Kurde/Araber, aber ich bin mit Döner aufgewachsen und lebe in Stuttgart. Wie bekannt haben wir mit die besten Läden Deutschlandweit und ich behaupte guten Döner schon am aussehen zu erkennen. Ich meide Läden, die nicht mindestns 90% Scheibenfleisch verwenden und zahle gerne 8, 9€ für meinen Döner. Auf die Soße verzichte ich auch, verfälscht nur den Geschmack und man merkt nicht, wie billig das Fleisch/Hackpampe eigentlich ist. Brot sollte immer! selbst hergestellt werden und kein Fladenbrot vom Laden. Das könnte man hier verbessern. Eine Scheibe Tomate, wenig Zwiebel und etwas Scharf, sonst kommt bei mir nichts rein, beim ersten "antesten" eines Ladens kaufe ich sogar nur Fleisch, um die Qualität besser beurteilen zu können. Ich bin mehrmals im Jahr in Berlin und war bisher eigentlich immer enttäuscht, die Berliner "feiern" Dönerbuden, die hackfleisch Billigdöner verwenden und nennen das Geschmack... 5 verchiedene Soßen auf den Kebab, damit man ja nichts vom billig Hackfleisch/Wasser Spieß schmeckt. Diese Läden wollen Stammkunden indem sie jeden Bruder, Chef oder Meister nennen und etwas mehr Fleisch als Andere in den Fladen packen. Aber lieber habe ich 150g Scheibenfleisch als 200g billigsten Abfall wie in 80% der Läden in Berlin. Dann wundern sich die meisten, wieso sie durchfall nach ein paar Stunden bekommen :D . Selbst Hergestellter Spieß mit purem Steakfleisch sucht man vergebens. Wie oft ich immer hörte von Mustafas Gemüsekebab, einmal hin, die pure enttäuschung, aber wenn man es nicht besser kennt.
So ist es. Überall nur noch reudige Hackpampe auf den Spießen. Deutschlandweit, nicht nur in Berlin. Eine Dönerbude zu finden, die Yaprakdöner anbietet, ist wie die Suche nach der Nadel im Heuhaufen. Traurig. Diese Hackpampe sollte verboten werden. Genauso wie abgepacktes Discounterfleisch und andere billig produzierte Wurst- und Fleischwaren. Von der Art und Weise wie die Tiere dafür gehalten werden, will ich garnicht erst anfangen. Lebenswert ist anders. Wenn die schon bei uns auf den Teller landen, sollen die wenigstens vorher ein schönes Leben gehabt haben. Für gute Qualität und eine lebenswerte Tierhaltung zahl ich gerne mehr. Musste mal raus. Kotzt mich extrem an das Thema.
Schön Klassisch! Zwiebeln , Tomaten und scharf. Wie man ein echten Döner essen sollte, leider ist das was die anderen fabrizieren kein Döner sondern eher ein Hippstar Müll !

IMO, the doener is the most delicious , healthy and economical food choice in Berlin. If you've never eaten a doener just ask the server to prepare it llike he would eat it. I guarantee you it will be delicious.

There are no kebab shops in Manchester (UK) on the same level as what is available in Germany. The ones we have here are generally Pakistani owned & the meat is bought in pre-manufactured using poorer quality meat, where lamb doner is mixed with chicken & beef so costs can be cut & profits increased.
Jeden Tag ein Fleischspieß - ganz frisch. Und falls der mal zu früh ausverkauft sein sollte, dann macht er sogar nochmal eine kleinere Variante davon zeitnah fertig.👌
