You should try also Central Anatolian Turkish food, especially in villages. Much better than anything. 1. Madımak, 2. Arabaşı Çorbası + yutulan hamurla beraber. 3. İncir Uyutması, 4. Dönderme, 5. Bamya Çorbası, 6. Kuru fasulye + pilav + kavurma, 7. Mıhlama

They have been around and picked what they liked and brought it back. I mean Italy still thinks pasta is Italian. Chinese are laughing about Italy since Italians came up with that stewpid marketing idea. 😅 Don't make me start with Greeks, they took almost everything from the Turks, added some letters to Turkish names and called it a day. I used to bring my grandma lamb heads from a slaughter house I worked in ,she'd put the cooked head on a plate & be in heaven. Sheoved me for it , I would Crack the head where the brains were, being a butcher she adored me, the happiness on her face was incredible , brought her back to Italy. Gramma DiNunzio.
