Turkmenistan has officially opened its new futuristic city, Arkadag. Named after the country's former president, the multibillion-dollar city is equipped with the latest urban technology. TRT World's Ilyas Avci went there to see what it's all about. #turkmenistan #arkadag #futuristiccity

Where are the people? Societies don’t precede civilization. I’m recalling all the empty cities in China since the 1990’s. Capitalism makes much more sense. Build when their is a need, not before or you waste the energy of a people and economy.
