I was driving home from Auburn University back in 1970 when I first heard this song by Turley Richards on the radio. I heard it as I passed through Montgomery, AL and loved it so much I stopped and called the radio station (yeah -no cell phones) to find out who was singing it. I bought the 45 when I got home and it has been a favorite of mine to this day.
Turley . . . . I love your work on this incredible song . . . even more soul than when you originally did it way back when.I'm just a little sad that the young girl at the left bottom part of the video wasn't able to truly appreciate the quality of performance she was privileged to experience.
