I would actually like to disagree on a few points in the England management segment- Graham Potter is definitely not the best candidate based on playstyle, far from it. Graham Potter, who did bring great results at Brighton, was never a coach who played the best football, his strategy was very clear, have tall defenders and pacey fullbacks and play a 5-back system to block the infiltrations, he is just the guy to get the job done and play non risky football, not much of an upgrade over southgate, Eddie Howe on the other hand is tactically the best English manager of the 21st century, Eddie Howe plays total dominant and pressing football which is a treat to watch, and England should adopt such playstyle as well, and regarding him not getting top 4 this year; it was never going to happen with the squad anyways, Newcastle have players like Fabian Schar and Dan Burn in defense, there was no way they could get top 4, they got top 4 the season before because Liverpool had an off year, Tottenham was struggling and Chelsea had a huge downfall, last year Liverpool re-emerged, Spurs got Ange and instantly improved, and Newcastle had a lot of injury problems like Callum Wilson, their Top scorer from the previous season, Sven Botman, their best defender and Nick Pope, their GK all getting big injuries and their star signing Tonali getting banned, Eddie Howe is the best manager tactically out of the 3, but he may not suit England as he needs a pacey striker, quick wingers, constantly pressure creating midfield and fluid passers, England have an ego problem in the squad where Foden, Jude and sometimes even Saka dont track back and Kane is very slow. Another point is that England dont have this policy to only hire English managers, infact in 3 of the 6 world cups of the 21st century, an overseas manager was at the helm, Sven Goran Erikkson in 2002 and 2006 and Fabio Capello in 2010, Fabio Capello was a serial winner for Milan, Juventus, Roma and Real Madrid but failed miserably at England, and England then decided to go back to trusting English managers, but replaced a man like Capello with Roy Hodgson, then Sam Allardyce and then Southgate, managers who are championship level or premier league relegation battle level at best, but well, that is the level of English managers, which just proves why an english manager has never won the Premier League since its reinception in 1992
Eoin Morgan seems to be a good option for coach for KKR. Morgan and Nathan Leamon can compliment each other. We need an Indian Mentor who can also scout. We also need a fielding coach if Tendo is unavailable.
Yes up for morg and above everything he's passionate for kkr and his tactics are also good and Vijay dhaiya could be the guy of Indian circuit he's into the domestic for long time sure can find some talents
Very unlikely a choice still I feel if Sourav Ganguly can try his feat as a coach which might also help in the future scoutings as he’s been in this circuit for quite a while now, along with him in place I would pick three people to complement the management : 1. Virender Sehwag/ V.V.S Laxman as Batting Coach 2. Mohammad Kaif as Fielding Coach 3. Harbhajan Singh/ Trent Boult as Bowling Coach/Mentor just to have that extra edge when it comes to T20’s
Agar 4 retentions ka system Hai then Shreyas Iyer ko , Rinku ko , Salt ko reten kar lena chahiye plus rtm card se kisi ek player ko wapas le lena chahiye Baaki if possible buy back kar lo otherwise unke perfect replacement ko khareed lo
I think this might be a blessing in disguise for kkr ... Now nobody expects them to turn up with any great performance..they can play freely and shock the world..that too will make for a great story At least i hope that's how it turns out😅
Will be surprised if either Morne or Tendo gets a nod. BCCI is pretty adamant abt Indian coaches. And the rumours abt Chandrakant Pandit do not give me good vibes at all !! Appoint a good coach/mentor and try and retain as many players we can.....thats the best we can hope for !!!
i can think of only one name Ricky ponting , he would have things to prove in ipl after the sacking and well if someone is more aggressive than gg , only one name comes to mind
@@justrandomstuff9556well lets be honest even after being third best franchise of the league , it was less than popular than a certain red jersey team with 0 trophies. In the last few years especially 2018 gambhir left , people stop bothering their existence. This season was one season they became relevant again because of all the right reasons. Tbh they do not have any star players so probably they will be irrelevant for next few seasons or so .
@@OmShukla-su7oy partially agree with you bro…but keeping rcb’s hype and fan base as a benchmark isn’t fair… kkr fans always were interested in kkr’s progression (albeit less than before..which is normal in any form of game if a team doesn’t do well for a long period of time )..and tbh, I am fine with kkr not being as popular as rcb - at least we fans are critical of our team’s performance
