7:43 if you cast that in attack phase you block the last creature you let alive with the 4/4 elemental and you clean his board, pay attention to that, great deck !

@MTGJeff Been awhile since I've been able to watch your videos, but can say the sped-up deck tech is truly a great change I've seen and truly one thing I have yet to see from other streamers. I originally started watching this when I've seen others playing it and curious about it, but glad I came back when the quick-tech helps jump into the games.

In the control matches you just have to always play with a counter up and be patient. My recommendation is to play like 2 turns slower with the 1/4 so you have counter back up at least if they kill it you get 2 for 1 in regards to them using 2 cards to get rid of the 1/4 especially if they use the heartless act first then it resolves and the counter in there hand is useless especially in the mid game.

This style of deck reminds me a lot of Mizzix's Mastery Overload in Historic. I made an Izzet/Prismari list that uses a lot of "draw, discard, make treasure" cards to get to 8 Mana.

I play a similar deck, but imho the dragons are unnecessary, and the current standard has both strategic planning and curate to pump big spells away from your hand and draw into flamepainter faster. I also run doomskar over narset, and Lukka flip to pull a hasty flamepainter that died to removal out of the grave post doomskar. Subira and a singleton access tunnel guarantee a hit when dropped from hand with a flamepainter from last turn, and alrunds epiphany plus subira is devastating, plus refills the hand

7:06 Use Prismari Command to take out one Sentinel and create one treasure token. You still get to cast Magma Opus then, whilst also completely wiping the enemy's board clean

I think the drawbridge concept could be interesting if you are willing to lean into Galazeth a bit more, might be hard to fit in, but could work. Alrund epiphany is also something I considered.

With my efreet i have been using access tunnel....it fucking just kills, especially if you hold it until its summoning sickness is gone, then drop it and watch your oppponents plan go to shit as they cry. I havent really seen anyone using it yet, have you tested it? Once again, I have and it is almost necessary now....
