That did come out very pretty! It occurs to me that this base of "box" at the bottom and the two paper towel holders above, would make a good Jewelry Holder. Maybe add hooks to the upper rim to hang necklaces off off, and instead of mirrors and frames at the base, use a box of compartments or miniature drawers for rings and bracelets? And perhaps a tray between the box and the bottom rim of the paper towel holder to hold loose pieces of jewelry ready to use or not yet put away.
Great idea!! I can see where Dollar Tree and or The .99 stores are going to be flooded and cleaned dry of all metal towel holders. LOL. I LOVE BOTH ideas here !!! Ty for sharing!!!!
You can buy a different type made just for jewelry. It's better than the fishing line. In fact it's much better. You can't tie your ends with fishing line it would be a hassle to get a clean polished look. I used e-6000 instead of the zip ties on this as well. Sure you wait overnight but those zip tie ends BUG me. I also added fairy lights with fairies 🧚♀️ around looks STUNNING. ✨️
You craft elegantly and I appreciate that. You actually UPCYCLED dollar tree items by HOW you put them all together. So many try to make dollar tree items look glam by using more and more tacky items. Here you really executed this so well. Great job!
I like it a lot!!! My vision is to have a few more beads haging down. This would be for wedding center pieces. I read someones idea for jewelry. So many possibilities!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
I bought a Dollar tree utensil holder the silver just like the paper towel holder and I use it to keep my scrub brushes for dishes in the center and then the sides I used to stick my sponges in and they stay in perfectly so they can dry between uses and not get mold buildup. It's like a sponge tree. Works great!
Just put the battery pack in the pot and wind the lights up either scattered patterns or around and around. Best to end at top. Then I add a cute little figurine bee/butterfly if I can't get the end of the wire to go in. I have also added bows seasonally around the steel part. Just butting in here. Pardon me!!
I know that we all have gone to the Dollar Tree/Family Dollar/Dollar General and gone up and down the aisles and imagined what we could combine and make into something beautiful, I know I have. Thank you for sharing your talent. It has set off my creativity juices. Keep doing you ❤️❤️
WOW! That is indeed a jaw dropping DIY! You turned this one dollar paper tower holder into an impressive center piece decoration. Excellent DIY!. Big like.
This is very pretty. I tend to decorate only for Autumn and Halloween and I can see how I could very easily change this up for that time of year. The flowers could be fall colors and maybe some crystal spiders handing from the dangles. I think a couple of spider webs made from crystals and wire would look really cute attached to the center metal rods. Heck this idea could be used for whatever your favorite holiday or season is. Thanks for sharing.
@@franjaworski1147 Hi, I haven't made a final decision on the spiders as I'm more in the brain storming - planning phase. But, I plan on making my own. I have seen a couple of tutorials online for them. I will also probably look at dollar stores, Amazon, Oriental Trading, etc to see what they have to offer.
Very nice idea! Love that with a few adjustments you can switch this up to fit any season, it can be casual or dressy. This would make a lovely wedding on a budget centerpiece. You could pick foliage to match the colors for your wedding and dress your table beautifully. Poinsettias come in several colors so it would be easy to match your Christmas decor and have a couple of these on your dining table or if doing a buffet, one on each end of the buffet. The ideas are endless!
My friend and I created this tonight and it turned out so pretty with beautiful flowers and hanging crystals..going to use for her engagement party! Thanks so much for the idea!♡
I would put pictures in the frames and use them for center pieces for weddings. For the Bride and grooms table. I had barbies that looked just like my husband and myself. Everyone loved them.
Oh wow! I appreciate your creativity. Your centrepiece is an absolute eye-catching masterpiece and extremely beautiful. This looks like an expensive piece of decor found at stores like HOME-SENSE(a pricey and fancy decor store) here in Canada. Whenever you have a chance, is there any way that you please post a tutorial/demo video on a ‘fancy’ Kleenex tissue box dispenser that can be made with all sorts of easily accessible crafting items and DOLLAR-TREE “knickknacks” (EXAMPLE: beads, stickers mirrors and glass gems, picture frames, fake flowers, whatever comes to your creative mind), and that adds A expensive-looking finish to the coffee table. The cardboard dispenser that holds the Kleenex tend to get smushed, damaged, accidentally sat on, stepped on and shoved around. A demo for a sturdy refillable box can be a perfect addition to the type of content you post and it will: • serve as a beautiful piece of decor on a coffee table, that looks “high-end” and expensive. • function as a sturdy box to contain tissues •do a better job keeping dust out of the tissues. •the tissue box will stay in one designated spot instead of being moved here and there. I checked in many local decor stores and online, they are expensive and do not even look good for the price tag. Thank you once again for sharing this demonstration.
Definitely, a very lovely centerpiece 💜 I would go crazy with some more crystals maybe even hanging it high & low. Thank you, I appreciate this tutorial. 😀
That's so funny that you saw this too. I was so confident that she was going to do the inside-outside thing that I had to take second to see if there would be some logic or reasoning behind her setup that I wasn't immediately seeing.
That was awesome and very beautiful. And I'd like to let you know that I loved your video. Because you showed us ever step but you didn't drag out the video showing us you doing all of each step like you spray painting the whole thing. That made it easy to watch n very enjoyable. So THANK YOU & GOD BLESS !
About 5 minutes into this and I was thinking, "What in the heck is this craziness?!", but it actually turned out extremely pretty. Awesome project idea! Thank you for the video. ❤👏🏼
You’re already at 11 items ($13.75) not counting the flowers or the TWO paper towel holders or ALL of the hot glue you used. This is easily a $30 project when it’s all said and done. Most of us DIY to save money,….maybe it’s just me but when I am looking for dollar tree crafts, $30+ is a bit out of the budget.
You are a wonderful teacher! I watch all of your videos and am continually amazed at your beautiful, unique, and creative ideas. Thank you so much for all of your hard work and sharing your gifts and talents with us!!❤❤❤😊
I did this! But I used a 5th frame for the bottom and glued the foam to it on the inside! It turned out beautifully! Thank u for this wonderful idea!!!!
I love the creativity. It’s inspired me to do a soft rose and hydrangea version with a few of my win idea added. Thank you so much for helping me!❤ God Bless You and keep you protected from the negative response, that are not profitable or loving. 🙏💕
Very pretty!!! I love it! I also thought of a jewelry holder while you were making it. But on the dining room table is very pretty! Thank you for showing this to us! I will make something like this in the future!
Love it! Such a great idea although as u suggested I'd put more beads and u could put them all around it and add some lights and u would have a beautiful lamp. 😍
What a great idea sometimes I use the wooden dowels but this is so much better! I would have never thought the paper towel holders could be used instead of wooden rods and they come from the Dollar Store!
Wow! That is beautiful! Artist blow my mind with the way they can see beauty in anything and create beauty with it. I have been watching organizing and decorating. I am terrible with house work. I start something then get overwhelmed and confused quit. These videos have changed my life. I thank all of you 😊
Very lovely-I could see using white flowers/petals for wedding table centre pieces. Theme it up for Easter, Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Halloween or the different seasons. Really good DIY.
I handmade topiaries for all of my guest tables for my wedding it will double topiaries. I love the mirror box idea for the base and I love the paper towel holder for the frame and dangling the beading is beautiful! all great ideas
Metal paper paper towel holders (2) 2$ 4 frames 4$ 4 mirrors 4$ Styrofoam ball 1$ Paint can hold 4$ or more Each green styrofoam small or large a dollar apiece 1$ Not sure where the beads. Aww from ?? $$ Flowers 🌸 20 $ craft .. not including glue gun & glue gun of course
I agree. However it's kinda really irritating to me hearing everything people have to say about the dollar tree raising prices. Does it suck? Sure does. But think of it this way, how often do you see prices raised in other stores? Grocery store, Walmart etc constantly, but dollar tree has been in business for a long time and has never once raised prices, so I don't know about you but I'd rather take a 25 cents increase once every 20 years rather than every few months? It's crazy how they're totally upfront and honest about it with their customers and there's so much backlash!? I don't see everyone bashing the grocery store each time milk goes up another dollar a gallon? Just saying, sometimes it's merely about perspective.
@@saragia1488 AMEN YOU GOT THAT RIGHT. ADLI'S IS ALOT BUSIER. I GOT GROCERIES TODAY & MILK WENT UP 20 CENTS FROM 10 DAYS AGO. $ TREE IS STILL CHEAP, INSTEAD OF GETTING 5 ITEMS FOR $ 5 YOU GET 4 ITEMS. SOME PEOPLE WOULD GRIPE, BITCH & MOAN IF JESUS OWNED $ TREE.
@@saragia1488 so true. I cannot believe how many people whine and complain about that quarter. It’s really sickening to be honest with you. I’m so tired of hearing it. So it went up 25 cents. The gas prices are totally ridiculous but I’ve not heard one thing about that. Wonder why that is? Because these women love to bitch gripe and complain.
