Love your tote. I need to make one that size for my Cricut Joy. Looks like the perfect size for my baby Cricut. And could put vinyl in there as well. Add some pockets on the side for tools. Would be the most perfect bag. Thank you so much for the idea.

I think the red lining popping up (as a design choice!) really made the bag look special. I guess if you wanted to build that in from the start so that the lining still fit down to the bottom of the bag, you could just add a couple of inches extra to the height of the lining pieces (or double however much you wanted to peek over the top, to allow for the fold)?

I thought about doing something similar last year with placemats. Then They sold out of the mat I wanted. But I found a sturdy tote at goodwill and forgot about making one. Good idea to use dog leash. Turned out looking very high end. Ruth.
