When I’m having a hard time or super stressed, singing always helps. There are so many artists that I pick out to help me deal with whatever I’m going thru. Therapy is also SO important, and a vital part of my healing.
I listened to the new Jame's Blake album today, and found it really useful to open up some space, clearing the background stress of day to day. I also hear you on therapy, it's something I've been lucky enough to get into at a few different times in my life, and I've found it really useful. Thanks for taking the time to comment, it's appreciated, glad the video made sense for you.
Elliott smith, (my favorite) Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst, John Moreland. If folks don’t perceive you to play “sad music” or song then imo you’re eff’in up.
I got close to my art because of the toughest life situation I ever encountered. It helped me to cope with all of it and well, I'm still in the process of building everything up to be finally able to share it my way.
