How will using this App "DESTROY your old phone's battery", since all one has to do is use a charger that has the amps matched to the usage. For example if the phone uses 1wh, then use a charger that has 0.2A (5V charger x 0.2A = 1W/h)

As far as video quality, that depends on the phones you use. I made many videos on this topic , showing how well my older phones worked. Normally, having the camera face direct sunlight is not good at all for video quality. I hope your neighbors stop being rude. Thank you for the questions.

It needs Wifi or a connection to the Internet. The pro version has many more options.

It definitely works very well, I have used this successfully.

1. Can the camera in California communicate with my smartphone when in Texas? Yes. 2. If so, do I have to put every camera-phone on my cellphone account? (I use Google FI, which is not free)? No, but they need to connect to wifi or the internet somehow. 3. Is there an app that can be installed on my computer that can receive the video/sound from the camera-phone? (If so, where do I get it?) This is the app. Alfred. You can view the footage from the phone via their web site and your private account with them 4. Can the camera-phone upload the video to a place I choose on the Internet? (For example can it upload to my Google Drive? Yes, you can download and save file locally , then upload them to your Google drive 5. If it can upload, can it delete the videos to make more room for new videos? yes If anybody has any answers to these questions, I'd love to hear about it.

Sorry, No, security cameras that rely on WiFi to function need an internet connection in order to transmit footage or images. Without internet access, the cameras will not be able to transmit their footage, and you will not be able to view it remotely.

Do you mean for the phone to just record and save the videos on the phone, like a trail cam? Yes! You may goto the play store and do a search for "trail cam" There are many apps that record and save the video on the phone without Wifi needed ( after setting up the app)

The video and what I use are both the free versions of this app.
