Again, I can't thank you all enough. Seriously You've made so many things clear that poor teachers didn't for me.

Muchísimas gracias, Alejandra! These videos are super informative! The turn signal handler coming back to its neutral position whenever you complete a turn is something I deduced in my first driving lesson but I'm glad you pointed it out.

Hello, can I turn the signal control down or up in most cars?
@DriversEdDirect

Hello again! When using your turn signals, you push the lever down to signal left and up to signal right. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hello I have a question. At night which lights do I need to turn on? Also when raining and foggy days? Thanks!

Hello Katherine! You want to use your low-beam headlight setting when driving at night. Likewise, use your low-beams when driving in fog, rain, or snow. If your car happens to have fog lights, you can also use them in fog/rain/snow, BUT you should use them along with your low-beam headlights. The only time you should use your high-beam headlights (i.e. your "brights") is at night when there is no traffic immediately around that you might blind with your lights. High-beams are good for canyons, country roads, and low-traffic highways... but never use your high-beams when it's foggy, raining, or snowing as the lights can reflect back at you and actually make it harder to see. Hope that helps!!

Too bad 40-50% of people here in Michigan (and assuming the rest of the US) do NOT use turn signals anymore. It makes me extremely upset literally every single day. People are incredibly selfish, inconsiderate and entitled, especially now more than ever. What happened to society??

There is absolutely NO reason for ANYONE to drive too fast on the road or NOT give directional signals. The speed limits should be obeyed at ALL times. When weather conditions warrant it, drivers should reduce their speed (under the limit). There's also no reason for car & truck manufacturers in the US to make engines that can exceed the national speed limits. Foreign made cars should be required to have speed reducers (governors) installed on them BEFORE than can be driven in our country. This is one of the reasons I'm a proponent for the development of self-driving cars. Also, vehicles should only be able to negotiate turns, if the motorist engages the turn signals. The only time a turn could be made, without giving a signal, would be in emergency & evasive situation of which the onboard computer would sense an override necessity. All these enhancements would make it more difficult more drivers to operate their vehicles in a wreckless or careless manner. It also should be a safety feature on vehicles, with respect to driving in rain & ALL dark conditions, that the lights would automatically come on. Time & time again, for instance, I see dumb heads driving in the rain WITHOUT their lights on?!
