Since hearing this on the radio last week, I've listened to it roughly a dozen times. Each time I can't help but sob uncontrollably and end up a mess by the end. The song's progression feels like it mirrors the highs and lows of my struggle with depression and it all seems so personal. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music.
At first I thought "wow, this sounds surprisingly simple for a Chris Thile composition" and then around 0:36 or thereabouts, "oh, there we go!" I really enjoyed this show's theme of water. And Joey Dosik has a lovely voice... he & Madison sound nice together.
I keep coming back to this over and over. It's totally of a piece with the Nick Drake song from the same show. Can we start getting Joey on LFH more regularly? Talk about a utility player in the band!
