There’s an alternative called genii studio and it works the same AND it’s full release + it’s supports usb lightning and type c (you still need a capture card)

This is a surprisingly cool feature. I’m hoping Apple doesn’t ban it. I’m curious as to what are the supported resolutions. This would be great for college if you don’t have space for a TV

Sadly Capture Pro is unavailable :-( It is in beta and the developer are not accepting any additional testers. Hoping it will be native in iOS 17.

I seen eposvox make a video on this same subject, any external capture card that uses driver less installs like the cam link here or the live gamer portable 2 plus from avermedia works well! I've used the avermedia one on my phone! (Galaxy note 10 Plus)

What is the connections I’ll need to get this without the dock? I have a usbc hub with an hdmi port. So I would need usbc from the switch to hdmi to the hub, then plug the hub into my iPad? Along with my charger to the hub. This would charge both the iPad and the switch right? I just don’t have the switch dock.

Konu hakkinda uzman oldugunuzu dusunerek bir soru sormak istiyorum. Bir dronum var ekranli kumanli type c cikisli. Bi tanede ipad mini 6 var type c girisli. Kumandanin ekranini ipade yansitmak icin yurtdisi videolari izledim, tavsiye ettikeleri tum ekipmanlarin en kalitelisini aldim. Type c den hdmi cikisi olan bir kablo aldim. Hdmi dan type c ye donusturen video capture card da aldim. Orion ve capturino programlarini indirdim actim fakat no signal yaziyor. Bir turlu cozemedim yardimci olursaniz cok sevinirim.

Or just USB c it to your phone for Samsung and use the app on there. Or plug it into your computer with the capture card

Thta capture card is NOT $30 on amazon :( There are cheap capture cards available, but the cheap ones tend to have really poor image quality and latency, even if they technically are 1080p

It's crazy just how far behind Android Apple iOS devices really are. Been able to do this on Android for years. Just like split screen, stylus pens many other things. Smh

Yeah people here say it doesn't work on android. The USB Camera works flawless. Though milage may vary if your device is USB 2.0 or 3.0 above.

Because iOS 17 actually lets you capture using USB TYpe-C you couldn't do that before. Yes you could do it wirelessly before but the latency is brutal. This is so much better.
