As a singer songwriter, I would love to use Ko-Fi commission feature but it will be grateful if creators can first review all the requirements and request from buyers and even we can message each other through a chat box for commission discussion before making any payment. This is to avoid that creators who might be not able to meets buyers requirements, refund and cancellation. Looking forward for this features! Thank you:)
You must have read our minds! We're actually very close to releasing a new feature that allows buyers to send you a DM on Ko-fi before they purchase a commission 🥰 I've given you beta access so you can test it out for yourself! We'd love to hear your thoughts ❤

Im pretty new to kofi so I dont know much, but what if i wanted to take the payment part by part or whatever? (I'm not good at english but what I mean is if i wanted to have a partial payment first, then once the product is done i get the rest as sort of a finalization-?)

Yes I was looking for this feature also! I hope this is something that can be done in the near future. I just set up my account today I sell crochet items but in order to provide custom orders I would like to charge a deposit first to start the order and then get the remaining payment when I’m ready to ship.
