Man that gentleman has some serious talent when it comes to metal work. Also has an amazing eye for balance, color, symmetry, etc…..Super rare gift this guy has. Wish I had the vision and skill set he has. Just beautiful workmanship. I really like what he did with those lamps 👍🙂
Attended a house clearance not so long ago with an antique book seller who was there for valuations. Turns out there wasn’t much of any valve, what she really wanted was leather bound spines. She wasn’t remotely interested in the contents of the books, because the buyer wouldn’t be either. Books like that are bought by the length it turns out, to fill bookshelves and give a suitably “learned” look. The fact they are never read is neither here nor there. Probably the same people who buy stuff like this.
