Awesome car and GREAT engine choice! However the true equivalent to a 2JZ is the 12v Cummins. A turbo and some minor fueling upgrades and you can have a horsepower and torque king!

The engine Block is the same the 2jz and the om606 are great tuning engines. As i worked on my own om606 i noticed how easy it is to make it sound good be reliable and still get 400hp+

OM606 is super popular tuner engine here in Finland, even one drift team from here uses it. and the power you can get out of it is amazing. european Diesel 2JZ and european petrol 2JZ is BMW M52

If only there was a dyno in SoCal somewhere that could verify these HP claims. Absolutely love this car. I love the Z cars in general, but this thing is enough *OUT OF THE BOX* to really stand out. Awesome build!!!!

I should have done my F-body conversion back on the day.... (life took over and got in the way) Those Mercedes diesels are awesome... It's one of the few OEM diesels that actually revs to 6000 rpm without problems

The title got me into 404 error . I cant believe someone stuffed a 2jz and converted to diesel….then the engine hood is taken off, not gonna lie. They had us in the first half. A Mercedes diesel is the clue in this puzzle

Here in Europe these engines have over 500.000km's on the dash. These engines can run forever 👌🏻👌🏻 We europeans love diesel's 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 PS: for a 3L turbodiesel, an automatic would be better.
