Try Adding a couple of coats of PVA glue over the wax next time you do this kind of job, then you can use water to separate the molds because the PVA is water soluble, works well.

@@rbdesignsnh it's not pva glue, it's release agent. Two very different things

Thanks for using a mask and gloves. too many content creators (especially woodworkers) are skipping it and will end up with health issues later.

Yeah, PVA release agent spray on new paint surfaces for mold release. The epoxy reacts with the paint, that's why it stuck to it. You can use the Frekote in your mold when you make your part.

Hear, hear on epoxy vs bondo/polyester resin. The better epoxy resins don't have the amines that cause the blush after curing... or the smell/fumes that you require you use a respirator.

I have modelled and 3D printed the mold and failed. It was a Subaru spoiler. May be I should print the spoiler than get a mold than CF. Keep the good work!
