Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow, this is just awesome. Everyone and I mean everyone should try this. Anyway there I was laughing at the double cream recipe I saw using aquafaba, sugar and vanilla essence, I just did not believe this was possible, so off I went hunting through my pantry for a tin of chickpeas. Well I can tell you no amount of sugar or vanilla essence will ever make that palatable, I am never going to try that again. All you end up with is frothy sweet foam with an undesirable after taste of chickpea. After glaring at the huge bowl of foaming white goo for several seconds I noted the next RU-vid recipe had started playing to itself in the corner of my kitchen and I heard 'chocolate mousse'. That was it I was off, cupboard doors flying open in all directions until I came upon the very thing I coveted, a bar of Cadbury's Bournville Dark Chocolate. In the blink of an eye I had it melted and tenderly folded into into my white foamy goo.........and that is when I fell in love. The nasty after taste had gone, replaced by glorious smooth, melt in your mouth chocolate heaven. I will never ever through chickpea water away again, and I will get as fat as a pig, but it will be worth every mouthful.
