Z, the devs have put a post up on steam saying they'd messed up with the expense of upgrades along with a lot of other stuff. They've put up a roadmap for fixing it all and I'm sure they'll do a great job. Rather than continue with this I'd wait till the full release as the experience should be so much better. They're also doing a creative mode so showing how stuff works should be a lot easier for you.

a roadmap to fix it? Its a simple number change in the engine. Stop sucking them off. The change was a delibrate change, they can easily change it back.

So saw your video and saw it look like they had a lot of changes so I load the game up today but I can put 500 scrap into the machine to recycle so I don't know if you have a different version like the version they're going to change it to or if they already updated since you played it.

Z1 - What version did the Devs give you? I don't have that Upgrade tab in my workshop and I am not sure why the upgrades don't automatically apply. Also you have end game items like apricot tree seeds? I plowed through half the entire map after the new update and didn't get them trees. Just Apple and Peach. Started a new game last night after the fix release and don't see the same things you are seeing/getting/having problems with (components???). You might want to reach out to the devs and make sure you are playing the same "version" as everyone else.
