Hi guys, I just wanted to step in here and state the obvious for whom who has not tried it yet… This method only works if the target computer has the application already installed (Aka It doesn’t) I had to test it to make sure I was right… As I can only use it on my house, computer any other computer it is plugged into either Mac or Windows does not automatically bring up my video or photos or text, only the USB obtains a text file made for the application to read

Though normal usb compared to digispark board or usb rubber ducky. Main difference is that the machine might have a usb scanner and whatevs and have bullshit passwords before you can use the storage and run a command. Digispark or rubberducky makes it so that it acts as a keyboard and is SEEN as a keyboard or mouse so it bypasses the security.
Cool tutorial, but it didn’t inject keystrokes. It just opened a notepad file with pre written stuff in it. However, you could just write a quick python script with the keyboard library, convert it to an exe and then have the software run that.
@I_hatecooking So inside python you get libraries, libraries are pre-written code you are then able to call upon. Instead of haveing to write the code that makes the usb appear as a keyboard its already been done and you can use it. Converting the python file from its standerd .py form into a .exe (an executable) allows it to run on the victim device without needing that victim to have python. Its important to note that windows devices now come with the auto run function disabled and therfore you must make your usb seem like a keyboard rather than just a USB. (you can also use python libraries for this) this is a very rough explanation but i hope it helps, Python is a great place to start i recommend just playing around with it first and building small projects.
That's pretty cool. But the result is pretty different from what a USB rubber ducky does. Here you are using a payload which consist on a vbs/bat/ps1 file. This will probably alert the user if there's an AV also maybe stopping the script's execution. Also you cannot deal with behavioural analysis.
@@electronictechshow potentially we can do anything with this method. If we run a ps1 to download other payload, bang 😉 The only problem is the AV evasion
a PID (Rubber Ducky) mimics a keyboard, allowing for injection of payload script as if it were being typed by an actual keyboard, whereas this takes advantage of the autoplay/autorun feature on PCs. This can easily be defeated by turning off autoplay/autorun in settings > autoplay. Very cool proof of concept in exploiting that vulnerabilty though. BTW... autoplay is on by default with a prompt for action.
Thank you for your comment. Features are limited for this method. We can't do everything that rubber ducky can do. But by using this method I got reverse shell connection successfully from the target machine.
@@RaymondCampesino If you are trying to create a rubber ducky and don't know what GPO is, and you want to be a real 1337 hackzor, begin studying or get a Help Desk job to start. Ill be nice and tell you, If you want to use this in a work environment, GPO is group policy object. ITs/Sysadmins, set policies so that autorun does not initiate when a USB thumb drive is inserted into a computer on a domain where a computer is managed and domain joined. Or, .exes will not autorun, where a script like in this video tells the USB to autorun.... IT 101 man. Hit the books.
@@RaymondCampesino You can also create Local Policies, which are the same as GP, without a computer being domained joined and Group Policy enforced. Look into that and learn how to apply them to your computer. Example, on my computer, in order to run installs, you need to know my password, UAC Password enforced. So if someone like you created a rubber ducky and tried to run it even on my computer, with trying to install the auto run app, you would need to know my password, even with my computer unlocked and me on the other side of the world.
That is cool i get the whole concept, pretty much it opens a application instantly as soon as you plug it it very similar to the rubber ducky USB nice trick dude
I think that windows banned this Autorun thing and it only works when you have the program installed on your computer. When you try to plug it in to diffrent computer it is not working at all.
@@rjcancilao6099 I tried to use some programmable boards with USB connector but I think it is not possible to make rubber ducky USB from regular one without taking it apart and modifying it.
Would you please confirm if it's capable of autorunning in a foreign system?I don't have one so I can't say..In my PC,a program named supervisor needed to run in the background for the autorun thing to work,so it kind of depended on another software,which clearly won't be installed in my victim's PC.
Therefore add ah lil extra script to make the usb check the system secretly for autoplay settings and to automatically run if so and to cancel itself and eject without a notification

You have to create a batch file(.bat) and program it to start each vbs files. For an example, I want to open vbs file named (hack1) and after 10 seconds I want to open another vbs file named (hack2). Now you have to create a notepad and write the code like this. Then save it as a batch file.(.bat) code: start hack1.vbs timeout 10 start hack2.vbs

You have to open the cmd and type (netsh wlan show profiles) and enter. After that type (netsh wlan show profile "WIFI NAME" key=clear) Then you can see the password of it.
