See this is why I love detailing. This exact scenario. Taking something and without major mechanical and body shop work turning it into something you can put on a show room floor. Just brilliant work gentleman. .
These are the comments I love to hear. Thank you for the support and the kind words. We really appreciate you taking the time to watch the channel and join us!
THANKS FOR DESCRIBING WHAT YOURE DOING IM EACH SECTION MAN FR! I appreciate it and it helps me have a bit more direction for when i wanna start my own build. as someone who’s never worked on a car before, you’re helping bring new people into the hobby by being thorough with something as simple as that
Ahh the good old BBS. My E30 325i m technik 1 from 86 now has original 46k kilometers. Its fully restored, rust removed on the frame and axis. Original paint without any chippings.
Wow you bought in near perfect condition car with no mechanical issues perfect interior no damage to the body all parts in excellent condition and polished them and put some new screws in wow
Wow, That was dejavu. I had one excatly like this in 1988, same wheels and a coupe. Mine was "just" 320i, with 127hp. It had the 7x15 BBS Split-rims, 205/50/15 in front, and 225/50/15 in the back. Dreaming of having a striped out coupe again, with a little more hp, to have fun on trackdays.
My next neighbor (widow) has a 1973 BMW 2002 tti rusting away in her back yard offered to buy it she said it was not for sale fully intenting to restore it but she cannot part with it. Well done on the 325is detail guys.
I like this e30 doesn't have any stupid DIYs and all original! Awesome car, I used to have 318i long time ago... thinking to buy again for fun, but it is very difficult to find this model in Canada
I was lucky the previous owner kept his 325i always garaged, washed, cared for when I bought it from him. I had the head reconditioned, the front control arms changed and the paint is still like new. If anyone wants to see, it’s on my channel. Check it out!👍🏼
I already had a soft spot for you, but now I've seen how you even check if the windscreen wipers still operate after reassembly, but with them pointed upwards, so you don't fuck up your clean window, now it's love man....
Kenn Dejan schon sehr lange, dem Mann könnt ihr vertrauen, ist ein korrekter Mensch,ps...auch wir hatten Erlebnise mit unseren damaligen Autis....weiter so...Meister
Great job, but problem with those old non-metallic paint is that that all the scratches will be back again after couple washes. I've owned same color e39 non-metallic and know what I'm talking about. Only complete repaint with clear coat will make it shine like new for a long time
What’s your process for the leather restoration? We do these seats all the time in my shop. Fully redye the leather to permanently restore the wear and scratches.
Oh.. my .. God. I didn’t even think that type of transformation was possible.. amazing work. I don’t trust many people with my car but IAM bringing it to you guys when I’m ready for a detail! Great job guys!👏👏
What a beautiful transformation! I want to have a similar level of detailing done to my e30, roughly how much should I expect to pay for a job done to this level?
Restoring cars almost never brings a profit to the person paying to have it done. The only way it’s profitable is for the person doing the restoration themselves or the shop that’s getting paid to do it. A $10k car with a $20k restoration is a $30k car to the right buyer and a $20-$25k car to anyone else. The only way car restoration can be good business is if you have the tools and expertise to do it yourself.
What WAS the budget for this X-detailing? Stunning work, just stunning... but gotta be affordable?... let us know what $$ and actual time in calendar days too. Cheers!
I'm pretty sure the guy who sold the car as new and now watched this vid still can't believe the car looks actually way better than it was sitting in the showroom.
It was very badly painted (a few times) and it created very weird looking sections of the paint. There was also very visible cracks in the pain t and the video is not great at showing the true condition before it was repainted. Hope that helps!
I never realized cosmetic detailing could also reverse the miles of wear and tear on the drive train and other mechanical parts. It’s a brand new car and now worth its msrp new price all over again. Brilliant money maker. Now, to find one of those suckers who are born every minute…..
This car was already an excellent driver. It just needed some exterior love to bring it back to life. And these cars are quite popular now days, which helps a ton
