@@BensWorx There's "chrysanthemum tea", which unfolds as it steeps from a little ball into a "flower". I don't know if that would work in resin. But I think that a resin mug made with chamomile flowers could be very pretty, depending on how the resin affects the colours of the flowers.

The colours can have interesting reactions in different salinity too, could be interesting to see how they go in resin!

@@MegaKellyschannel With floral colours, the effect is usually due to pH rather than salinity. Some of the pigments are pH indicators. For example, one can toggle forget-me-not flowers between pink and blue by dropping the flowers into vinegar or a solution of baking soda.

I have an idea for a future cast: A glow in the dark shavings project. Basically, Add a few different glow in the dark pigments to regular resin at random. Then once its cured, turn it down to whatever for its shavings. Then cast the glow in the dark shavings in a new resin for a bowl, vase, cup, ect., to see how the pattern comes out, or see what effect it would make. What do you think? Would that even be possible/feasible?

Wow! So many cool things in this video. The pattern of the shavings and how you showed us all of the processes to setting up the lathe and changing the tools are two highlights I remember now. There are food safe resins out there, but I don't think he used it for the bulk. The one he painted was different than his normal one, so maybe he painted a food safe later inside?

The jug He painted the inside with said "water coat polyurethane" not sure how food safe that is but my guess is if he used it, it must be okay.
