True. Even if this is a manic episode, she did cause a lot of damage to the people involved. At the very least she owes everyone a good apology and rectifies her actions, so that something like this doesn't happen again. But from how she's acting, it seems like she isn't willing to accept that she responded very Innapropriately and harmed people.

As someone who’s both Black and an artist this was severely disappointing. I’m sorry but doubling down on this does not make things look any better I swear - they never called you racist and were completely calm, respectful and polite during their whole video. I mean in a sense, humans are extremely flawed and do/say fucked up shit time to time, no this is not an excuse this is a fact. People fuck up terribly due to mental illness, something going on in life, genetics, how they were raised etc. What baffles me is how people look up to others or put this expectation that they wont do anything wrong not only is this unfair to the people you look up to but its unfair to yourself, stop putting high expectations on literally anyone because you will only be disappointed- And dont look at this as something to be sad or pessimistic about! I think the original AI video was very mature. Obviously you will get passionate about something you feel strongly about, especially when someone is implying you are a bad person for goofing around with AI with friends. This stream wasn't mature at all, though she does say this. Doesn't have to justify it in your eyes, but the og video seemed mature, even though the reactions after that were definitely not. It isn't lying so much as ignoring some stuff.

As a black artist who recently watched jouusta's video, her video in no way shape or form was disrespectful, just genuine criticism. It really hurts to see one of my favorite RU-vidrs to play victim in such an intense manner over someone who was trying to help you see the bigger problem here

I'm an artist and an animator. I have seen countless people lose their jobs and many more their motivation to continue creating because of AI. Living in fear that the art and stories you created suddenly won't belong to you anymore is a feeling shared across the art community. Not to mention artists being unable to find stable jobs even more so now because it's "quick and cheaper" to get AI to do it. This is something that's branching into the voice acting community as well; it doesn't go for just digital art, etc. Imagine how harsh it would be to be unable to find work because AI replaced you, and now people are using your voice that's been trained with AI to say things you wouldn't ever approve of. Now think about this in everyday life. We've already seen pictures that are AI, some extremely more harmful than others. Some going to lengths to create fake images that exploit other people, especially women and minorities. But it gets worse! Because AI videos are now a thing of the present and anyone can deepfake anything now. Having such a stance as an artist, and rejecting all criticism and turning it into "this person is being racist towards me," as a way to garner more attention for yourself.... It's not going to work. For your own sake just log off and just think about what it means to frame someone as being racist just because they told you "AI is bad!" Because as the way AI is exploiting people currently, it's terrible. That's the end of it.
