Today I am going to show you a homemade DIY fashionable face mask tutorial! I decided to make this video because I kept hearing about how there is a national shortage of face masks across the United States. I know how to sew and I know I wanted to contribute in some small way. Obviously making something fashionable isn’t the most important thing, but I believe that being creative and making beauty is always a great stress reliever. I really hope everyone is staying at home whenever possible so we can do our part to flatten the curve.

- Wash fabric masks daily
- Do not wear masks if you have respiratory illnesses
- Save the surgical masks for medical professionals who are on the front line of healthcare, and use them only when you need to
In order to protect yourself from a possible infection, the CDC recommends:
* Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
* Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
* Stay home when you are sick.
* Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
* Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
* Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
