I really like the way you do Christmas , all the natural decorations sprinkled with magical lights. Everything so carefully arranged, a most pleasant place to spend Christmas Eve with perhaps some warm cookies and a mug of hot chocolate 🎄🍪☕️🧚❤️🎩
Aww thankyou so much!! Always be on the hunt in craft shops for paintable advent calenders, they are always so fun to make over and a wonderful keepsake!! Thankyou for watching sweet 😊🖤🌲
Everything that you created and decorated in this video is Beautiful! I Loved the Nature inspired tree with the Moss and Gifts that you found in the Woods! Gorgeous!!! 💚💚🍁🌲🌲🍂💚💚
Thankyou my love that is so kind!! Yes I think that tree was my favourite makeover 😅😅 it was very boring and lifeless before!! That's what I get for buying a tree online! 😂 Blessed be 🌳✨🖤
The way you fell into your sofa after putting all the decor up is exactly how I felt last night. I try not overdoing it with the decor but just thinking/planning and moving things around until I get it just right does wear you out. All in all, it's so worth it at the end. I just newly discovered your channel and can't wait to watch more of your content. You did an amazing job decorating your house!
Ohhh I'm glad I'm not the only one 😅😅 it's so easy to get carried away isn't it? Especially the rearranging and final tweeks!! Hope you recover well from it all and now you are able to enjoy it! Blessed be 🖤🖤
Thankyou my lovely!! I am very lucky even though I didn't know it was there for a few months 😅😉✨🌲🌳 hope you are having a blessed yule and have a nice break this Christmas! Thankyou for the support this year, Alwyn ✨🌲🌳🌲✨
Absolutely beautiful video! Everything about this is so enchanting and magical! I especially love how you use natural things you find in your walk in the forest 🌳 in your decorating! Mulled drink looks delicious! Thank you for sharing the recipe. I really like the tablescape nice and simple. Have a blessed day!
Beautiful set up Alwyn I love it! I have two Christmas trees I was scared of looking " extra" by having two but they actually look quite beautiful and compliment each other. Thank you for your inspiration. Stay enchanted 🥰
Ohhh yes my love having more than one tree is something to never feel ashamed of 😂 it's good for the eye to be drawn to different moments around the house too rather that just one! Thankyou my darling have a magical day! 😊🌲🖤
You have such a beautiful and magical style! I love the little meaningful touches you added to your decor. I love how organic and natural and peaceful- yet festive your home feels with your decorations. We are slowing getting our decorating done. I have four kids and over the years they have made so many ornaments and they are meaningful to me. We also have some ornaments that look a little rough, but I have fondness for them anyway. Some of these have always been know as "back of the tree" ornaments. This year my three teens still left at home decided to put these kind of ornaments front and center. They were highly amused and had fun, so that is what counts as most important in my book!
Ohhhh that's quite funny - I agree the ones made in preschool are always the ones for keepsakes but not necceserily center stage 😅 my mum tried to give me my 'creations' when I moved out but I told her to keep them as a keep sake 😉😉 Thankyou such a lovely comment, I am so glad you appreciate my magical touch, can never do without it! Blessed be 😊🖤✨🌳
Beautiful! So festive, fun and fabulous! I have two large trees and four table top trees! My theme was influenced from the time I was very young and watched the Albert Finney AChristmas Carol musical. The Ghost of Christmas Present’s magical room inspired my Christmas decorating, with gold, greenery, fruits and elegant excess. 🎄
Oh my gosh I know exactly what you are talking about that sounds MAGICAL!! Glad I'm not the only one who likes to go a bit mad!! 😂😂 I'd love to see a picture of that!!
Its Lovely, cozy and makes me want to clear this clutter in my home. Thank you for inviting us into your home. I love the archway. I was wondering if you made that and is there a how to video on it ?
Thankyou so much! The recipe is: Red Grape juice, 1 stick cinnamon, 2 slices orange, star anise, cranberries, (or a mulled spices sachet from the supermarket) simply heat them on a medium heat for 10 minutes!! P. S. You don't have to use all the ingredients I find that just cinnamon and orange alone do a lovely job :D 😊✨🌲
Great! Atmosphere so elegant, poetic and magical...love the house with the calendar 🏠💖 I am so crazy about Yule that I can not move my decorations even if Christmas is over but I will decide why Imbolc is coming...😉
Being creative be going extra, that’s great thing! I did that too! All about balls this year. Oh my goddess, how did you find HOLLY .... BALLs! You found that in the wild?! Bonus!
Haha yes I gathered the Holly!! A great decoration and free eeee!! Thankyou for your lovely comment I'm so glad you enjoyed the video!! Wish my home was still like this now 😭🌲🌳💚✨
Thankyou my love!!!! I'm sitting in my lounge now, no lights on, except the Christmas lights, dint think I'll be putting the main lights on until January now 😂🖤😊🌳
Soooo beautiful! I love those golden leaf ornaments, they are amazing! And I love the idea of decorating trees with what you can find outside. I put some branches in a vase and decorated them with cones, orange slices and lights and I just love that it looks so natural. Whenever I craft something out of the treasure I find in the forest I feel like a fairy of nature 😁
Haha awww yes being a fairy of nature is the way forward!! I find the results are better, more meaningful and just impressive as it's free 😂😊🌲🖤 that decoration sounds magical!!! Thankyou my love and have a lovely week!
You did such a beautiful job! When my cat learns to behave I want an arch ( I know she will be climbing it 😁), it is my favorite! I too have multiple trees. I love to have a tree in all my rooms and sometimes only put lights on them with no ornaments.
Ohhh glad I'm not the only one, I always used to see celebrity house tours and think... They are mad to have all those trees, but now I get it!! That sounds truly magical and glad you like the bare branch thing too, sometimes it's nice to be reminded of the simplicity of the bare branches of winter! Thankyou sweet and have a a lovely week 🌲😊🖤
Love your xmass decorations. I also use nature as decorations. Pinecones, moss and greenery. And i already started making paper decorations. Stars and hearts. They will hang tŕueout the house. I love this time of year
I love everything you did! I'm so envious of your forest. We're having our first snowfall of the season right now and I'm finally starting to feel a little bit festive. Not a month ago it was 80 degrees here in SW Ohio.
Ohhh that sounds lovely! Where abouts do you live? Here in the south of England it only snows about once a year (if your lucky) and the whole country shuts down when it does 😂😂 Thankyku my sweet 😊🌲🖤
Absolutely gorgeous and inspiring! I live in Australia and so our Christmases are hot (still fun) but this makes me want to have a Northern Hemisphere Yule! Blessed be
Next Alwyn's video: I turn myself into THE ENCHANTED WOOD... Ahahhaha you're so connected to that forest, aren't you?? You're gorgeous in winter theme and so creative! I loved the idea for the bottom of the tree, and how lovely are the moon and those cute birds?! 😍
Hahaha would it be bad to say that past my mind 😂😂 I honestly wouldn't have this youtube channel without the forest, its just my muse, my no 1 inspiration!! I'm glad you appreciate my birdies!! Have a lovely day! 🌳😊🍂🍁
Magical episode, Alwyn! The vibe is really good. I would say, you have three Christmas trees and also unlimited amount of Christmas trees near to your house as well. lol ... I've noticed, that the TV fire is a great risk-free way! lol Have a nice day, Enchanted One!
The TV fire is a life saver 😂 especially as the house is quite modern and doesn't have a fire place *life goals to have a real fireplace* I'll have to decorate some trees in the wood too!! 😂🌳🌲✨
ha nicely done, is crafting a hobbie? did you major in cookery? your new house looks so cosy, yet modern i love it. The pentagram dream catcher like decoration on the wall, just gorgeous. just a warning, those fir cones will eventually open and drop their seed, so i hope you have a dust pan and brush :)
I definitely love all of this 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 the mossy roots and all of the natural elements for the smaller tree is such a lovely idea. I’ve been making nature themed Yule ornaments for the last few years now and you’ve definitely inspired me for some new ideas. Especially with the Mossy roots. As always thank you so much for the inspiration, your home looks so cozy and wonderful. On a side note...do you have any DIYs on making mushrooms? I love your mushrooms that you had out for Fall and placed onto your piano and also the ones you painted on your arch. Was wanting to make some bigger ones though. Tried to find some like the ones you have and haven’t had any luck finding any so I think making some is going to be my way this time🥰 also found some large pinecones on my last trip to the woods and I’m going to be making little natural Yule trees with the pinecone on a round slice of birch wood with a star anise for the topper. Thought that with a little white glittery paint on the tips would make it the perfect snowy scene❤️ can’t wait to see your next video
Ohh the pinecone fir trees sound magical!!! What an amazing idea to add star anise on top-will be having a go at that thankyou!! Im glad the mossy roots inspired you - i am always looking for Crafty ways to decorate the bottom of my trees!!! And I don't have any mushroom diys yet... The big mushrooms that are on my side are actually from John Lewis and the smaller mushrooms were just from a local garden center. I have tried to think of some mushroom diys though... For example I thougut of maybe making a kind of pillow using felt, padding and a circular piece of cardboard, and then maybe using a stick as the stalk?? I haven't actually tried doing it though but it was an idea I did have for a video that I never go round to doing!! I'll will absolutely be doing a DIY on it in the future though! Thankyou for such a thoughtful lovely comment sweet, have a magical day! Alwyn 🌲🌳😊✨
I was thinking of maybe paper mache mushroom? You did such a lovely job with your other paper mache items like the tree and table. I may have to try some out. I will try looking for this John Lewis and see if I can find those mushrooms. They’re absolutely amazing🥰
@alwynoak, thank you so much those are so perfect. Alas they don’t deliver to the US right now😞 I will definitely keep my eyes on this retailer though as I’m hoping they will soon❤️❤️❤️until then I’ll try my hand and keep watching your videos😊 thank you!!!
could you make like diys for the walls ? like vines or something cool and I've always wanted to see mushrooms that look like they are growing from the walls and I have a bedroom that's like your diys and my favorite thing to do is have like nothing on the floor and a bunch of stuff hanging from the roof
Of course!!!! I actually made it up myself 😂😂 Red Graoe juice, 1 stick cinnamon, 2 slices orange, star anise, cranberries, (or a mulled spices sachet from the supermarket) simply heat them on a medium heat for 10 minutes!! P. S. You don't have to use all the ingredients I find that just cinnamon and orange alone do a lovely job :D 😊✨🌲
Absolutely amazing!! I would never want to leave the house...I guess lucky there is a lockdown lol 💞🥰❤️ Come by and say hello one of these days, we'd love to show you our latest 😊❤️
