These are my favorite kind of videos! Mash ups that aren’t necessarily attached to a franchise or anything. I feel like it opens the door for more creativity. 🖤
Drop bear dragon kind of looks like he is perched in a jacaranda tree which are flowering here in Brisbane at the moment. Maybe if I get lucky I will see one! :) Leech dragon is truly disgusting and terrifying. I think that was a really hard prompt and Alysha did well with it.
These are good but could be so much better. It takes more than bat wings and sharp teeth to create a dragon. What if you had to turn a bat into a dragon? They already have bat wings and sharp teeth. Oh yeah, just give them horns. That's the ticket. You guys are awesome but I don't think you were really trying on these.
This was such a great idea! But who put leach in the pot? 😜Poor A-leach-a! Sorry couldn't help it, and you did say it yourself 😉I absolutely love this concept and so inspiring too! Gotta get to work now on my own versions now!
This is a great concept for the video! Love it! I'm only 20 seconds in so we'll see the results (which I'm sure will be great), but the concept alone is awesome.
Okay, looks amazing....BUUUUT....the leach isn't a dragon, an actual dragon has six limbs minimum. If it only has wings it is a Wrym. Also the Nazgul beasts are also not dragons.
I can vouch for the comment of "Eating a lot of carrots = your skin turning orange"!!!! Growing up my parents juiced carrots and made us drink it on ALL THE TIME, and I seriously remember having more orange-y skin. On the plus side, I feel like my skin also got tan easier too...?
Sorry but are u guys not trying hard? I’ve seen Aleecha’s art and what she’s capable of.. she didn’t try very hard! Great layout, fell short on color/shadowing/highlights and detail.. I’m normally not negative but it let me down.. same with Jazzas
The carrot thing happened to me. I mean I drank a lot of juices which had carrot base, but still, lil kid me had orange palms and face for a period of time!
I wish y'all took the time to make fully fleshed out art pieces like y'all used to do. Currently, it just feels unfinished or a form of simplified concept art. At this point, the end result is more disappointing then fulfilling. I hope y'all get back to doing fully realized pieces like you used to do with your markers.
I love the Koala Dragon it reminds me of a Pokémon especially the Paradox Pokemon with a dex entry that says "this ancient magical being is said to be a distant relative of a modern day koalas, they consume tons of eucalyptus to have that minty-fiery breath"
"It's even more epic with epic music and an epic reveal" - elevator music continues, we see it on screen for one second. Maybe a bit of an editing fail?
Oh and by the way,, y'all got any tips for an old person trying to do (learn)) watercolor? I usually use pencils and crayons. Watercolors are so very different. (also one day, could y'all show pastels, or oil pastels?) I saw the experiment with gold leaf. Neat.
Kat is definitely our watercolour specialist. As for me, I love working with watercolour pencils! You get the softness of the watercolours and the boldness of the pencils. Best of both worlds! [Alysha]
