You are an excellent instructure with poise, patience and detailed. I wish you were my instructure. I keep watching your videos everytime. I have learnt so much just watching your videos.
Your videos are great. I'm a beginner but my parents say I'm becoming to mold into a intermediate driver after 2 months. The key for turning for me was not to look at reference points but look further into the turn where you want to go. My eyes guide my how far to turn the wheel and when to let the power steering straighten it out when I'm around 10 degrees short from being straight on the new street. Everyone has their method. Every instructor says to brake before the turn and let the car idle through the turn. I've seen you as the first instructor that promotes the idea of braking whilst entering the turn. Many people talk about skids, fishtailing, or hydroplaning. But I believe braking in the turn is only dangerous is one is simply going to fast and brakes instantly. But otherwise, going at a low speed and braking slightly in the turn is the way I've learned. Love your vids btw. Another thing beginner do also is driving with two feet bcuz of pedal error. I would drive my first two weeks in busy streets for 3 hours everyday with my day. I remember when I accidentally confused the brake and gas but quickly solved the problem and was due to poor foot placement. For anyone reading this, if you place your heel on the floor, and your foot is facing straight up on the brake. That's the right placement. Then swivel your foot a bit to the right and press the accelerator with your toes and swivel back to a straight foot for the brake. Another thing beginners talk about is highway driving and how they are scared of checking their blindspot by shoulder checking and fear the front vehicle will brake. Well, I'd say increase your following distance. I am still learning and got much better from driving 3 hours everyday. I started from a parking lot, to residential streets within the first week and a half. Week 2 and 3 I went through busy intersections and last on the freeway. If you don't practice anyone, you won't make mistakes to better yourselves. I'm a new driver and I am 100% confident and don't fear anything anymore. Hope the same for everyone and cheers!
I’m 53. Originally from NYC, now residing in SoCal. I’m taking my 1st road test ever, tomorrow. I’ve never had a license or driven, except for practicing. I hope I pass. Thank you for your videos. I’ve learned techniques from them. Very helpful, thank you so much!
This is perfectly explained! There is one suggestion I would have is to avoid keeping your foot over the gas and keeping the brake covered until you are ready to accelerate again. I like the philosophy that if your foot isn't being used while coasting then the brake should be covered to maintain maximum defensive control. Like it is said in the video it's all about how it feels eventually after using enough good practice methods all of this becomes natural.
I kept watching your videos.. it really helped for the beginner like me. My first actual driving problem was overturning and I think i need more practice to get it. I am actually worried because I feel I wont make it right. Hope I could tell one day...driving is fun and easy -:)
You touch a very very very important point there sir and that is what i am going to tell my driving instructor when i am going for my fourth driving lesson, the techique in driving, thank for that very important point,i lives in massachusetts USA
thank you, instructor. you teach well with passion and kindness . God bless. Now i know how to have my left and right turns 😊😎. i'll be viewing more of your videos. my hubby just got a car for me and I want to master driving like him... he's a "rude" instructor 😂 he gets nervous when i turn. It's good i found you on youtube.💖💖💖
I am ur fan..😊, i have started taking lesson since last week for G2. Can u make video on getting the judgement for car size, while turning and while driving in lane..?? Thanks..😊
You are correct some instructor they only want money they dont care if their student have learned all the techniques in driving. Only here in RU-vid Ive leaned some techniques in driving thank you so much !
Thank you so so much for the vids of your what your foot is supposed to do!!! I’m learning to drive now and turns are my biggest insecurity b/c I’m not certain of my foot placement, you’re the only video I’ve seen so far that explicitly explains this aspect. thank you!!
Thank you so much you're such a good instructor you explain everything. Mine instructor here in Germany is not good and don't have enough patient to teach me.
Thank you for this video ...was so bothered cause ppl were hooting and when I turn my car cause I'm a bit slow plus my parents dont let me drive at all I have to throw a tantrum to be able to even get a lesson out of them, I honestly belive that they are not fit to be parents but it is what it is ...Anyways I'll make sure to learn on how to properly control the clutch pedal cause I jerk the car alot when changing gears🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️
You're very welcome! I'm thrilled you found the video well explained. If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to check out more of my content. Happy driving! 😊🚗
This is exactly what made me fail my driving test. Accelerating while making a turn, especially a left turn, tends to cause a slight wobble before straight alignment..
Hi sir, as a beginner I learned alot from your videos,i feel determined after watching your videos and easily understand your techniques and tips you give so nicely..Its my humble request I need to watch videos related roundabouts; what speed will be needed and steering wheel position as well. Please help most of the time I did mistakes on roundabouts specially mini roundabouts please help My driving test is coming up.Thank you in advance :)
Please make a video how to use proper way of brake and pedal and proper positioning of your foot. Until now Im confused how to use my foot in the brake and gas pedal
I wish if I could take lessons with you. My trainer is impatient and screaming at me 😢 so after that video I decided not to go with him again, lease a car and teach myself based on your videos😁
That's the only problem i am having rn but the thing is i can do it when its lonely streets like in neighborhood area and when i go to a busy intersection i get overwhelmed and dont put enough acceleration 😭 i need to overcome the fear its only been 2 weeks
If you are in a 4 lanes road and you are making a left turn, and my car is in the inner lane, which lane I suppose to take when making a left turn on a 4 lanes road? I'm quite confused when making a left turn and which lane I suppose to take ? Please make a video about it. Highly appreciated. Thank you!
Good stuff buddy and I have a question im a beginner driver and I have a driving test next month but I just have had 4 lessons and im low on money to pay the driving instructor until the middle of next month so do u think I should reschedule it
Thanks a lot for your video. I have been watched lots of your videos and learnt a lot from them. Could you make a video about U turn? I have got G2, but still unsure when and how to make a U turn.
Thank you for the compliment! I recently posted a video on how to make u turns (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vbVq6W6bxfk.html) You can find a lot of other videos on my channel. Do check them out. All the best!
Good video Sir👍🏼you tell the truth new learner me also nervous when turns and cut roads come.At that time mind stability lossing means what to do correctly like that on a manual car with manual steering 🙄🤯
Please can you tell how I can eliminate the fear of driving. I know the driving and did practice too but I am failing again and again because of nervousness , how I can boost my confidence and get the licence.. because this is my biggest challenge these days.
Could you make a right turn? Because i wan to make sure if i am correct in turning right What I’m doing is slightly pedaling the break So i can turn right smoothly in low speed But my husband said it’s a wrong thing,i don’t need to gently used the break It’s not smooth.we ended up fighting.and it makes me lose confidence in driving.
Hello, you taught me a couple years back but I’ve held off getting my license do to lack of confidence. I wanted to know if you are still doing lessons? If so, how can I get in contact with you?
