My most impressive kill ever in this game was when I killed a T26E1-1 from 2.4km with this. It took like 14 seconds for splashdown, and I was.. *very* excited to hit it

There's a custom sight you can install which makes the shell trajectory 'guesstimation' waaaaaay more consistent

@@TurnyPlays I would really recommend trying the tank with it though and explaining how to install the mod for those not using it. It makes the AVRE stupidly good at pretending to be a mortar at long range firing out of cover and into cover at tanks that normally would be impossible to hit. Also do remember the AVRE is no longer on the store page IIRC.

Turny Should not fly planes... 'Insert slowly grinning trollface here' Insider information: HESH works better at long range... due to it's lower velocity, it comes down and squashes on thinner armour.

Wish Gaijin would fix the AVRE sighting method somewhat ,and its inaccuracy over 450m ... I know i know its a dustbin tosser but still the differences between the ranging and the sights regardless of dispersion is terrible. I am surprised it doesn't get a Range Finder like the Conqueror, Its so slow to get the range, then dial it in, then guess the actual trajectory the shot will hopefully take, then fire, then wait for its slow long arc ... and the entire battle has left the server or you miss and get yeeted by the M22 sitting behind you LOL

Theres a sight mode on the skins/sights site which makes it massively more accurate to the point that when you get good with it you can hit things 2km+ out with pretty good levels of accuracy. 100% recommend using it.

just an fyi for people using the avre the shell has two mechanics, 1 for HESH and 1 for HE the HESH is rubbish, but you need to not hit the tank or hit its track to activate the HE mechanic. You can hit a Tiger 2 on the front of the turret and do nothing but just like on 14:45 hitting the track one shot a tiger 2 then at 15:38 hitting the LFP did little. So yeah if your using the avre in close combat, you need to aim at the ground right beside the tank for best results.

Fun thing about the Falcon is that it's a pretty capable TD and being at 8.3 means it will see more soft targets.

All rank III American tanks are fantastic, and have a varied playstyle, try to watch different videos on each for different opinions and see what suits yours best! M4A2 (76) is my favourite!

Dearest Miseur Turny, i would appreciate if you would ever so kindly play the low tier t-80 that sits at 2.3, it has has a sloped 35mm front plate that bounces a lot of shells, it has the russian 45mm cannon and has the ability to scout, it unfortunately very bouncey when it comes to suspension and coming to full stops and has the worst turret traverse ever however i believe the previous statements negate that. Have fun suffering, Yours The Fatman
