In todays video of DDV, we work on turning the FOREST OF VALOR, into a cozy cottagecore forest neighborhood. This is part one of the video! I love the vibe. Cottage core is my favorite. I really want to remake this in my forest but the peaceful meadow is where Mickey/Minnie/Goofy are. I figured it fit them better then any other biome. I would put Eric there but his castle has palm trees...so it has to be on the beach... I'm stuck until they give us more villagers lol. I know Rapunzel is going to go in the forest obviously...that tower is so pretty. And Merlin is already in my forest but I have a potion maker vibe going on with his place...lots of purple stuff from the forgotten realm. Just not sure who else to put in the forest to make a neighborhood...

So cute. Guess what? I FINALLY got the game. I bought it last night and having so much fun. I'm still very early in the game but it's been fun so far. Still figuring things out. I'll be glad to get more stuff as I advance. lol I lovey the way you decorated your plaza and stuff.
its very confusing at first, i focused on farming for a good week, farm carrots for the early game until you unlock areas for good money!! welcome to the DDV club lol
@@horriblegamingofficial thank you. So far I just have the fishing rod, pickaxe and shovel. Do you need a Hoe to plant carrots? I'm still going around getting rid of the thorns. lol
Absolutely gorgeous as usually, I went for something different when I did my forest, going crazy with a lot of the Firs, Sinister Firs and Snow Firs lol.
How adorable and inspiring! ❤ Love your ideas so far so much. I got tons of ideas for a cozy and natural neighbourhood for the small houses. But I am so struggeling with the big ones like the restaurant, Remy‘s house and Scrooge‘s. 🙈 I would love to see your ideas for them.
Not a Disney fan here AT ALL..... I am absolutely obsessed with DDLV. Wildly addicting, the character creation is so much fun, adorable, and oh my gosh - DECORATING. I cant even stand it.
This is so gorgeous! What do you do if you want to go off of a path that you have framed with rocks? Like to collect resources? Do you have path sections that aren’t blocked in?
I am blending some pieces out with greenery to access my mining deposits and youll see this next video :) and im making flower fields in a couple areas for other resources to spawn! The main walkways are framed but not all will be! 🤗
quick question! do you play on pc or on a console? I've been playing on switch and decorating is honestly my least favorite right now due to the controls and im really regretting not buying on steam 😭 your videos make me really want to take on the challenge though!

What is your advice for keeping my decor and paths within the object limit? Not sure if my game is buggy but I'm at 459/600 and it says I am at the limit, not allowing me to add more.
thats a bug, report it on official discord. there is technically a secret item limit of 3000 items (non special items , using greenery etc) because ive been passed 530 with no issues but ive flattened
I think there's an issue with flower spawning. Gonna try to explain on my example. In the meadow I made a white daisy farm and a sunflower farm. Daisy being native to meadow and sunflower not (sunflower spawns on the beach). Now my "farm" consists of around 20 - 30 flowers. Daisies no longer spawn, whereas sunflower does. So maybe if you want to use a TON of flowers in an area, use the ones that are not native.
hmm i haven't had that issue with native either, i had like a HUGE daisy spot too, but i am using mostly flowers from other biomes in this video, could be a bug on my end , who knows, but its worth for others to try in case to avoid a possible issue, most of my videos will use other biome flowers since i love them more lol
nope because not all greenery counts. only certain items do AND they are increasing the special item limit. there is a secret "3000" item limit in the game
I was so happy to see you post and especially this area as I knew it would be amazing and it is! 😍 I just realized that I hadn’t yet subscribed so, new Subscriber here! I am also waiting for that topiary hedge maze too, as well as the waterfall wall, picnic table, and picnic blanket. I’ve been thinking to move Goofy to the forest as I already moved Merlin there and now I see it’s a great idea. I always feel so inspired watching your builds so thank you so much for sharing your design genius. 😊💜

im SOOO happy, i try my best to give tips/explain stuff in every speed build i do, my video style is very different for speed builds so i always get nervous about that lol
