Turn your redline down to 6500/7k will have better handling and keep your idle at 800/900, if you can see if you can turn the turbo up and try set it at 27/30psi (if you can) will kick in later and that will also help handling. Can't wait to see more of this game 😍

The plate for your little kei truck is on the old bed you need to remove EACH individual part from the bed that is what the + symbol is, means items are mounted to it. Also it'll be worth less until you put the plate back on it, it'll be classed as unregistered until then.

Soft suspension makes it easier to drift..too soft then you'll just spin out of control..adjust it to just accordingly so that you're comfortable with you're drifting....a stiff suspension gives more traction..hence it's good for drag..but aalll of that varies depending on the weight and power of the car aswell so..if you really want to max out that car performance to it's absolute best..I suggest searching for the perfect settup and tunings for that car..gotta say I really enjoyed this episode and I hope you'll do some more of it in the near future..keep up the good work dude!👍🏻
From what i can see,this game mechanics is heavily based on slrr(Street Legal Racing Redline),the way you easily remove parts,tune with the little screw driver button

Honestly to me it looks a bit like a remake of Street Legal Racing. I loved that game with possibilities of tuning the engine, building with different parts. Will take a look on this too.
As long as it has steering wheel and pedal input capability this could be fun. You were having the PC problem of gas/no gas where its full gas or no gas. Hard to control alot of horsepower when you cant feather the gas input. The modding looks very similar to car mechanic but much more streamlined. I like the concept of having an open world to explore and earn money in and could be filled out with many more objectives in future updates. I find the simplicity of tuning and modding would make it far too easy to achieve goals and shorten playtime dramatically. I did not notice if there was crash damage from when you ran into things but that could be something they could easily add for more immersion. Right now it just feels like its a cheap car mechanic/bmg knockoff though so I will wait until they add some substantial content.
Assuming this game is perfectly realistic the backfiring is probably 2 step that keeps your turbo spooled and limits the engine rpm when you press on the clutch so you don't have to let off the gas. The backfiring is the unburnt fuel leftover igniting when the spark is cut to limit the rpm by the ecu. That or you're running waaay too rich which seems unlikely since you presumably still have stock injectors and haven't adjusted the fuel levels after installing the turbo so you'd be lacking if anything.

The game itself doesn't really bring out DLCs focused on destruction but rather detailed maps, new vehicles, scenarios (that rarely feature destruction). They just have soft body physics because for a game that you're absolutely going to crash many many times, it's 1000x more fun if the crashes aren't equivalent to rolling a ball into a wall...

your handling problem isnt so much because of too much engine power but with LOCKED DIFFERENTIAL (proof: 12:47 , differential type: LOCKED). change to LSD or open diff if you want your car to slide less.
