As someone re- learning Islam, I really really appreciate the gentleness and kindness in the stories & verses that you've shared. I've been reading Al- Baqarah & Al- Imran and as a learner who wants to get to know Allah, it's a bit scary to see so many verses about punishment, no mercy for certain groups of people. Yes, I'm aware that there are stories and reasons behind each ayah, but this is not info really available to us. So this gentle, kind Islamic content is take impactful. Thank you
I tell the truth. Last year on Ramadan, I was down, loneliness, living and surrounded by koffars who hated me. I was down many problems and when I go to sleep I demand to Allah subhanou to take my soul, I don't want to live anymore, I want to meet my parents in Akhira. I know it's not good to demand that. One night I read my Coran Noble, suddenly the traduction on French the letters began to move like ants, letters of my book of Coran move and stop and I read. You want to die, really?? On French letters, and an other time letters move and ask me questions. At the 3rd question I can't read anymore I was like KO. And I respond to the 2 questions. The 3rd question I can 'not read it. It's the truth.

It’s really a good thing that we have a month like this. We truly get an Eman boost, and turn back to the Quran. Alhamdulillah, for Ramadan. It’s a blessing to witness such a beautiful month. Allah help us come out of this stronger Muslims and commit to the good that is engaged and changed in us.

My colleagues have now become used to seeing me wear hijab, and have been asking questions to the extent one colleague is questioning the purpose of life and creation. SubhanAllah. Thank you all. The last point that Shaykh Wyatt made really hit home. We live in the information age and there is so much information coming at us and it is so easy for us to get consumed in knowledge. We really have to reflect if the knowledge that we're consuming and/or chasing is beneficial. Jazakallhu khayr for that reminder.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: Some of the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) came across a tribe amongst the tribes of the Arabs, and that tribe did not entertain them. While they were in that state, the chief of that tribe was bitten by a snake (or stung by a scorpion). They said, (to the companions of the Prophet (ﷺ) ), "Have you got any medicine with you or anybody who can treat with Ruqya?" The Prophet's companions said, "You refuse to entertain us, so we will not treat (your chief) unless you pay us for it." So they agreed to pay them a flock of sheep. One of them (the Prophet's companions) started reciting Surat-al-Fatiha and gathering his saliva and spitting it (at the snake-bite). The patient got cured and his people presented the sheep to them, but they said, "We will not take it unless we ask the Prophet (whether it is lawful)." When they asked him, he smiled and said, "How do you know that Surat-al-Fatiha is a Ruqya? Take it (flock of sheep) and assign a share for me." Sahih al-Bukhari 5736 Chapter 33: To do Ruqya by reciting Surat Al-Fatiha., Book 76: Medicine

Jazakallah khair. When the brother mentioned the incident of Musa a.s asking them to slaughter a cow. I felt the time limit didn't allow him to share it the way the brother's heart was going with it. And this is not the only time I felt it in this session. I hope the time limit is changed or something. I wasn't aware of such a beautiful program/season. Alhamdulillah
