One month ago: the entire fandom bullies Deep Blue Ink into animating Merobiba. Today: the entire cast bullies Deep Blue Ink into animating Gooseberry Fool.

The recipe for gooseberry fool i found, the exact recipe used in the tumbnail, calls for greek yogurt. Julia managed to give Jacob both a "the fool" reference and a "Yogi boi" reference at the same time. 🤣

The very slight fourth spoom in the background that was generated at the last second when Karina realized the entire drawing was weirdly shifted is so good... I love Karina's casual horror.

I just looked up Ralph on Cake Boss and y’all. For literal YEARS I have remembered the polka dot T-rex he made. My mind is totally blown that it’s THIS Ralph! So cool. I remember watching the episode with my mom (who has a degree in painting and sculpture from Carnegie Melon) and she thought he was great! Made Cake Boss so much more worthwhile for us watch, just to see his work (guys I swear this was pre-instagram. It feels like so long ago. He must’ve been so young on the show). Edit: The episode aired in 2010!

Imagining a scene in a Dickens-esque story where the protag comes up to Flies Graveyard in a seedy alleyway, nervously holding a letter, and asks, "Is this the right place? Are you Flies Graveyard?" And Flies snatches the letter out of the protagonists hand and screams, "God damn it, I've told them so many times, it's Fileas! They never spell it right!"

As a Brit, I was also completely unsurprised when Julia said all the silly names were British. Gooseberry fool was a favourite of mine growing up. One thing though, it's pronounced gooz/guz, not "goose" if you're talking about the berry. If you want to be extra English it's "guzb'ry". You can also absolutely make excellent wine out of them.

I am blown away, with how little there is to take away from "spoom" Karona somehow managed to make probably one of my favorite drawfee drawings in a while. It has so many feelings in it that make you ask so many questions. Are the spoom scared or greeting? Do they know the red one it's there? And most importantly, is the shadowy figure something in front or behind them. And the best part about all these questions, I never want to know the answer, I want to see more of them, but at the same time I don't want abtmythong to be answered, it is completely mesmerizing. I adore the spoom, and I want them to come back.

Ralph really just messes so well with drawfee it’s scary. The chaotic energy of this group is a delight to witness.

Jacob's right, Ralph definitely made the most drawfee joke anyone outside of the main drawfee hosts has ever made 😂. He may say it was all him but that's how it happens. I definitely make more drawfee-esque remarks. Usually it involves merging two words together...or putting emphasis on weird parts of words. I've also noticed more recently I've started doing the Julia thing of hearing a phrase that is also in a song/similar to a lyric and then immediately singing that song with the altered lyrics.

I thought Willie was my favorite Drawfee guest, but Ralph is rapidly getting up there.

British Drawfee-enjoyer here! It sounds like what Ralph had in London was pie, mash and liquor. 'Liquor' in this case is basically parsley sauce, sometimes (not always) made with the liquid from jellied eels, but isn't _actually_ jellied eels which are literally chunks of eel sometimes served alongside. Also, as someone from the north of England, I love Eccles cakes and Garibaldi biscuits, which are essentially squashed fly pie and squashed fly biscuits respectively with less unappealing names!

Dinosaurs, Ninja Turtles, and baked goods?? Ralph is now officially my favorite person. Also,why does Flies Graveyard sound like a Scott Pilgrim character?

Suggestion: Bone Game Telephone (Telebone). One person starts with a picture of a skull and draws what they think the animal looks like. The next person tries to guess what that animal's skull looks like. The next person sees only the skull drawing and tries to guess what the animal looks like!

even though i already try to watch every drawfee video that is released, i especially wanted to watch this one solely because i knew that jacob was going to be called a gooseberry fool. also your gooseberry fool fits deepblueink’s art style so well, and i’m excited to see this little guy be animated in the near future
