Greetings to you in Denmark. You are absolutely right. Here in Kerrville, Texas you’ll even hear them on the radio. Best damn band in the world. All of the guys are super talented. Evan Felker is a genius songwriter. If you haven’t made the journey through all of their material, I’d highly recommend doing so. All the best to you and yours in Denmark.
Very well put mr michael. They’re a round peg and not looking for a square hole. It’s a slippery effort trying to pin them down. Long live Evan and The Boys!!!!

He sounds so good the more and more he plays. His voice sounds so much more humbled and smooth. And just in his eyes he almost looks up to the sky to thank the lord he is in a better place.
Thank the almighty Lord the very best red dirt/Texas country music band is back together. Fellows please please come play Amarillo. The panhandle loves the Troubadours
@@RustyShackleford-bo6cb I'm fully aware that Evan Felker is from Okemah, OK. I started listening to guys like Robert Earl Keen, Jack Ingram, and Pat Green back in the mid 90's and we always referred to that style of music as Texas country, as opposed to Nashville pop-country. Now you'll have to agree that Turnpike plays a style of country that's very similar to the fellows I previously mentioned. Texas country music is a style of music, not a destination, another example is Chris Knight being from Kentucky.
Good to see Evan where he should be. Calling out to his good friend John Fulbright. If any band should make it to stardom it should be these Oklahoma Boys! They aren't asking for anything - only what they've earned! They aren't asking I am ! P.B.F.H.
Thank you for posting this !!!!!! Saw them in concert a couple of days ago...along with Ray Fulcher who is from GA.........These songs are earworms ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Great work Troubs, long time fan. Doing us Okies justice. Fantastic performance and writing. Briarz dad of Ray shouts RC! Keep up the good work, will be buying this one too
It's shame these guys aren't getting any love from corporate country radio. Real, genuine music like this should trump the over-produced cooker cutter crap that dominates the airwaves.
I know exactly what you mean. How they don’t get the love is beyond me. To be honest, I’m kind of glad that they don’t. They are as real as it gets. I’d hate for going “mainstream” to ruin that. Best band in the world.
Was at the set at Stagecoach. Huge crowd overflowed the Palomino stage venue and into the general area. They should have been on the main (mane) stage! Awesome performance and the crowd was really in to seeing the band.
