I would love to see this in person and look at your head pressure and sub cooling..side note, it would probably be more effective to set up a water hose hanging over the compressors and coils and keep them doused in water.

I found a box fan blowing down and two more on the sides blowing out yielded only a slightly warm liquid line. It worked great while I waited for a new fan motor and blade as it had rotted through the shaft and the blade fell in. 2001 trane xb1000 3 ton. Still going.

I thought head fans were used for semi hermetics not recips😂

Make a shroud out of cardboard or something similar and you should be good.
