I remember the first time I played this game i was so lost. I had no idea what I had to do, plus the big ass maps didn't help! I'm glad they include a map though.. it was super helpful and still the best map in any game to this day!
This is definitely one of the cooler speed runs I have seen for a game. I remember trying to "speed run" this as a kid as a way to beat the game because I wasn't good enough to actually beat the game lol
I remember playing this game when it came out. Too bad none of my friends or I had the memory card. I don’t think we ever got passed the second or third stage of this game. N64 was a blast.

To jump up walls is a little finicky. Every wall in this game acts a bit differently, but the general idea is that you strafe into the wall (either direction) and hold the space bar (or whatever jump button you have) while adjusting your angle consistently. The angle you need depends on the wall. The very first wall in the game has multiple ways of doing this, the one shown in my runs is probably the fastest though, but it does fail from time to time. @@nicolecherry3348 Glad to hear there's an interest to learn this game! I think it's a good starter run as there's not a lot of movement oriented tech like bunnyhopping, it's pretty straight forward. Some tricks are quite annoying and/or difficult, if you get stuck somewhere don't hesitate to ask for help!
