Fantastic video 🙏👍 you do such a great job to bring always the cars so much on screen and in action, perfect mix of all. Thank you for taking me with you really feels like that 🤠👌
Great driving guys , well done demi in sunny corner, steep country with a trailer. Such a good area , looks like the pinnicle ft is getting a bit rough. Great filming mate , I’m inspired to head out again. Thanks for the campsite review 😂. Cheers shad
Content is so good and great variety and commentary from all. Awesome area to visit ! Great to see Gary back and by the looks he will be upgrading to 33’s with a bigger lift soon! Amazing for the Isuzu just keeps going everywhere he points it - 10/10!
It helps having well prepped vehicles, gotta give it to the boys with no lockers just air pressure well placed wheels and a bit of right boot when needed, the MUX is a beast it kept up no wuccas Demi you da man showing the boys how it's done you're getting better with each ep
Great to see the hig adventure come to an end in my neck of the woods, literally. Been biking and 4wheelin this area since mid 70's, recognised all the trails you took, the bridge to bridge is an awesome run along the Turon. Gary rejoining kept us entertained also, just love the 3 generations travelling together. Grease Gun - I've carried one ever since 2011 as I had to constantly grease the uni joints in our 76 as they'd clatter alot if not done every 2-3k, weirdly they'd dry out quickly. Stepped up from the over hyped 76 to a new GU in 2017, chalk and cheese, GU far better truck. In 2018 on K'gari, I'd experience rear uni noise every time suspension topped out, grease gun quickly resolved that. I do grease uni joints every 5k on the GU, service manual recommends 40k, thats a joke in a 4bie that's used as a 4bie in my opinion. So looking forward to any future extensive touring similar to this one, I so enjoy it, Wealie.
this one does have it all. Amazing video quality and the content is top-notch. Great to see the old fella back in the Isuzu, the youngest TT up and about and Mechanical Yoda is great addition - his banter is classic.
@Demi Towing the trailer you should have a drivetrain to the trailer too, making it a 6x6, like Swedish military Hägglund’s has on their All-terrain vehicles.
Pineapple/ Peenapple, Both are good, might not be Italian OG, but pineapple makes everything great.. The relaxedness of all you guys is amazing, can see esp in the kids and Demi a real change and growth, which is awesome, even Burto's jokes are more relaxed in a good way, stress of work life balance, gone, you guys are just living and living great the right way, awesome travels awesome episode guys, just smashing it. Loved the Dads Dumb Decision line, haha epic! What happened to Buro's mint Aqua Patrol passenger side front guard, did we miss that in an episode, we seen the BB bent and winched back to shape, but I missed the front panel ? 🤔
It is also great to see a realistic vehicle on the channel now the navara is never featured. These nissan patrols with ludicrous monster truck tyres and lift/suspension that require engineering certificates to even legally drive, these setups are way beyond what most people can afford and or are willing to spend.
Geez Louise Tyler, I am surprised the best Patrol mechanic and legendary outback comedian in the World didn't have a grease gin with him, mind you if it was a Toyota you wouldn't have needed it, Nissan things! Landcrusiers don't squeak mate! 🤣 Now that I dug that one in, I'll resume the video😂
What a fantastic end to an epic family trip mate. Was so enjoyable to watch and follow along. Hats off to you both for tackling the trip with the kids. Life long memories made. Love ya work guys. P.S. Kai. Definitely pineapple
Cracking vid mate, Demi smashing it towing the Opus (bit of limi bashing on the creek crossing 😂) with the brakes on the GU have a gander at the skid factory GU build currently under way, the upgrades AL has done for his son might be of use. The 5 week trip has been awesome to watch mate, spectacular footage and solid editing. Amazing job pulling it all together, you inspire other with what you do.
I think you guys favor E-Lockers, right? (Or maybe Air-Lockers?) Many years ago I had a rear Lock-Right for my auto Gen3 Jimny. It transformed the car from a very capable 4x4 to a fuqing mountain goat! Today I have a manual Gen4 Jimny with twin auto-lockers from Kaiser in Brazil. Yes they are a little bit of a hassle on paved streets and sharp corners in shopping mall garages, but off-road they are a man’s best wet dream! If you have failing E-lockers or air-lockers, get auto-lockers from Kaiser. They will not fail you, ever. The negative part of 4x4-ing is that you get much further into the shit than any recovery vehicle will be able to reach to pull you out. - Meaning, you’re in your own, mate. You’d better be equipped to handle any and all obstacles you can imagine, because no one else will. This is why I got lockers from Kaiser, because I don’t expect them to fail me ever. (No I am not paid to say that, Otavio Kaiser and I have no business relationship. I paid full price for my lockers from him. Kaiser’s main business is to produce high quality automatic 41:24 lockers for tractors and trucks. Lockers for 4x4 cars are for curtsy only.)
Great trip! Really enjoyed that one. Your wife is a 4wd beast!😂 I'm going to have to try cooking the chips IN the nachos. Seems like a thing there😊 As many wet diapers your kid gets from playing in the creek. You should get pampers as a sponsor 😉 Oh, and, pineapple. For sure!
I think that trans in the GU is screaming for reduction gears, especially if you gunna drag heavy trailers up steep hills. I'm not sure but possibly the trans was over heating hence the carry on it was doing. Do a trans oil change or at least check its color.
Fantastic episode guys 😀 loved it thats better than Bendleby Ranges Tyler Demi did a fantastic job getting the camper though the tracks epic scenery cheers legends ☺️
The mux need a higher lift, a bigger tyres and rima, rear bumper for spare, jerrys, treds and trash bag mount. It'll be good for the channel as well, cuz most Mux didn't installed rear multi purpose metal bumper.
No pineapple 😂 Incredible content mate spectacular terrain you are the 4x4 man and your courageous wife what a ballsy woman she is she has nailed all the tracks great stuff 😂😂😂
Advice? Went to the Adelaide 4WD and adventure show yesterday. If you were to buy a brand new vehicle would you go automatic or manual these days? Looking at the Triton Mazda and Isuzu thanks. Manuals only seem to come in the mid-range market
That spot where Demi got a bit stuck, (at 27:43 in your vid) is where I helped with a recovery in June. Can still see the small rock we placed on top of a massive rock which is just below the surface on the right in your video. Two vehicles got stuck one after the other before we marked the rock. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2Lb5bPmylYI.html
Same spot my son Owen recovered a car that hydrolocked in there. It gets a bit confusing there as there is a track along the side that is easily missed.
If you want pineapple on your pizza, then go for it. If everyone stuck to the rules, it would be a very boring world! Never ever seen corn on a pizza though! Might try that
