Turqoise3D makes some flat/crossed blocks and items like mushrooms, enderpearls and ingot types appear 3D but maintaining its look in vanilla. TurqoiseExtra is an optional resourcepack that reshades mushrooms, sugarcane as well as making the tools 3D.

Personally, I think items dropped or placed look better as their default counterpart. Something about the classic held in hand textures and inventory icons is just, idk, I'm more used to it. The decorations, though, look really really good, the sugarcane and shrooms look fantastic. I guess my main concern is being able to choose which things are modified and which aren't, that'd be perfect.

Yeah, shrooms and other decorations looks fantasting, i think author should work with the rest of them It would be great too add invisibility for frames with maps and idk remake trident for fun

The blockiness in the dropped item textures can feel a little off, but yea the traditional vanilla counterparts are pretty hard to beat. I agree with the shrooms and sugar cane, they look great! Considering the bamboo block is 3D, the sugarcane retexture would fit in really nicely. Technically speaking, you can modify the pack for what you want and don't want, but it's a bit of a hassle as you have to go comb through the textures and folders in the resourcepack zip file. Even then, some things may go out of wack if the wrong thing is deleted. Would be nice to have additional options to pick and choose from! And yea, I woud love to see a 3D trident remake, as well as other item textures to to see how they look in 3D.

What's even weirder is that they're 3D in the end portal frame in vanilla, so they should out of some of other blocky items, be the most comfortable to look at. But I get you what you mean, they just look freaky like that

It's so great to see coverage on smaller packs like this! I'm torn if the 3d look for all items like weapons work for me but I love the option of not having everything be pixel art only.

Indeed! There's so many smaller packs like this to find but they're worth it. Yea, the 3D tools and weapons I'd need to spend more time using to see how they feel in 3D. I really like the fungi and sugar cane designs, they fit perfectly at home with the recent block additions in modern updates!

some things shouldnt be 3D, imo heres the things i like to have be 3D: bookshelves sugar cane rails redstone dust stone cutter ladders doors and trapdoors vines glow lichen skulk vein lilypads chain iron bars thats about it really, anything else just looks so out of place being 3D for some reason
