Turquoise Bay Over the Water Bungalow, Roatán, Honduras 

We bought the package through Norwegian cruise lines as an excursion. It is on the other side of the island and takes about forty five minutes to get there depending on traffic. Included in the cost of the excursion was bus transpostation, a guide/ host from cruise port to bungalow and back and all food and drink Including alcohol. There are only twelve bungalows and they sell out quickly.

February and weather was perfect. It was a great shore excursion but we would not make it a vacation. Everything about it was perfect but the bus ride was a little rugged.

It was clear the day we were there. When we jump off the platform we could touch the bottom but It was too deep for us to stand there. We had a great time with the floaties that they provided but always swim with caution.

It was not a great place to snorkel, very few fish. We did not see anyone smuggling, but we did see several people kayaking out to some interesting vegetation.
