Before heading to the East (Desert View) Rim we stop in for a quick visit at the Tusayan Museum and Ruin. The Ruins is an 800-year-old Pueblo Indian site located within Grand Canyon National Park, and is considered by the National Park Service to be one of the major archaeological sites in Arizona. The site consists of a small, u-shaped pueblo featuring a living area, storage rooms, and a kiva.
From Lou Rocks live stream, thank you for the support on my channel. I subscribed to yours as well and will give u my support too. Thanks and I'll share ur vids on Facebook and Twitter.
Next to the Grand Canyon itself, this is one of my favorite spots in the park. It's humbling to think that you're standing in the footsteps of the past.
Thank you for bringing the ruins to life. It's easy to look at the Grand Canyon and miss the historical significance of the ancient cultures. Your brought a fascinating aspect of the park to life for us.
This was on the Desert View drive (East Rim) goes onto the Desert View Tower (coming up in Grand Canyon - part 2 in a couple of videos). Most people pass this by, but I like the history of a place as well. Thanks for stopping by, really appreciate it.
Hello Nomadic RV, that a wonderful vlog tour of the museum there in the Grand Canyon Village in Arizona. LIKE 45 here with a full watch. I have not yet made it to the Grand Canyon, but it is surely on my list. I loved seeing Pueblos when I would visit a college chum who then lived in New Mexico right after graduation oh so many years ago. Thanks for taking us along with you! Cheers and blessings, April
Hi April, went to Albuquerque and visited a functional Pueblo a couple of years ago fascinating. Next video will be some of the actual GC South Rim and the Desert View (east rim). Hope you like it 😊 Thank you again 👍
